With her new autobiography about to be released, it has been reported that Hollyoaks star, Danniella Westbrook has revealed details of being kidnapped and gang raped over an unpaid drug debt!

According to the Sunday People, Westbrook, who is currently playing Trudy Ryan in the hit Channel 4 soap, was taken hostage at gun point and held in a South London flat for three days where she was allegedly repeatedly gang raped by her three captors, who told her that they were teaching her a lesson for not paying her cocaine bill in time.

Hollyoaks newcomer, Daniella Westbrook, has revealed that her recent role on the hit Channel 4 soap has made her a bit homesick for Albert Square.

Westbrook had been off screen for 3 years since last appearing as her best known character, Sam Mitchell on BBC rival soap EastEnders, but had previously admitted that she was enjoying her time on Hollyoaks so much that she was hoping her role would be made permanent, and that she would even relocate to Liverpool, where the show is filmed, to accommodate!

Former EastEnders actress, Daniella Westbrook, has revealed that she was more nervous on her first day on the set of her new soap, Hollyoaks, than she ever was during her time at EastEnders.

Westbrook played Sam Mitchell on and off for 20 years but was sacked from the BBC soap during her first stint on it after a highly publicised battle with cocaine which saw her septum disintegrate causing the actress to undergo reconstructive surgery to define her nostrils separately after pictures emerged of her showing one large one instead of two.

Hollyoaks newest resident, Daniella Westbrook showed her heroic side this week when she rushed to the aid of a collapsed pedestrian, and administered life-saving first aid!

The actress, who was announced as joining the cast of Hollyoaks last month but is probably best known for recurring role of Samantha Mitchell in BBC rival soap EastEnders, manoeuvred the unnamed pedestrian into the recovery position after he collapsed in London’s West End, then cleared his airways and called the emergency services.

All this week in the lead up to Christmas, ITV1 chat show host, Jeremy Kyle has shown a string of celebrity interviews, all dishing the dirt on themselves.

So far this week we have already seen Alex Reid admit he has slept with men, and Kerry Katona admit that she used to go on drug binges with her own mother, but this is by far the most shocking revelation of all – Former EastEnder actress, Daniella Westbrook, has admitted to snorting a line of cocaine whilst giving birth to her son!

There’s potentially epic news today from Holy Moly, which of course boasts Jamie East as its Managing Editor, in that they report that reality TV ‘stars’ Alex Reid, Kerry Katona and Danniella Westbrook are to feature in a series of Jeremy Kyle Christmas specials on ITV.

Yesterday, HM stated, “All the Jeremy Kyle Christmas specials start on Monday, if you’re interested.”

However, having had a squiz on the Radio Times website and ITV’s press office, sadly I can’t find any confirmation of this really rather glorious – if it’s correct – news, as the blurb for Jezzer’s shows next week is the standard one and annoyingly, it doesn’t mention the prospect of the above named ‘celebs’ airing their dirty laundry for the cameras.

But of course, the potential for Kyle’s trademark insults is huge if Reid, Katona or Westbrook do turn up… Read more & comment »
