This week Jonathan Ross welcomes Jamie Oliver to his BBC One show, Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.
Talking about the nation’s health, Jamie says: “It’s going to be a horror show…the health system is crumbling, and when it’s gone we’ll be so sad because we’re breaking it.
“The last time our government did something radical about health was the Ministry of Food.”
On school dinners, he adds: “It’ll be nine years before we get a service across the board, we’re on track, we need more money for kitchens for every school…we’ve got a government that’s talking about it a lot, I want to know who’s running it so they can do a good job.” Read more & comment »

Little Britain star David Walliams was burgled at the weekend as he was appearing on BBC One’s Sport Relief.
Walliams was on the show talking about the swim to Africa which he completed for the event.
A neighbour told The Sunday Mirror: “David was clearly very angry, as you’d expect. There were no obvious signs of a break-in and the house seems to be bristling with security.
“It is clearly alarmed and there are grilles over all of the windows so the burglars must have known what they were doing to get in.”
Walliams cancelled an interview with Jonathan Ross on BBC Radio 2 after discovering the break-in.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries are continuing,” a spokesman for police in Belsize Park, London said.

Not only is the straight a major shipping route, but there is also known to be sharks in the water, a fact that worries Cracknell’s wife!
“I’m nervous about the swim because it’s a dangerous stretch of water… I will be watching from a support vessel with one eye trained on sharks’ fins and tankers,” Cracknell’s wife, TV presenter Beverley Turner said. Read more & comment »
