Former Coronation Street and Loose Women star Denise Welch had extra reason to celebrate Valentine’s Day yesterday as her lover Lincoln Townley was given the all clear by medics after it was thought he’d suffered a heart attack.

The drama began when Lincoln collapsed at the couple’s home in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, earlier this week. He was rushed to hospital suffering from chest pain, however, once any heart problems had been ruled out, doctors apparently advised Lincoln to ease up on his exercise regime.

He and Denise have reportedly “been on a health drive” for the past four months ahead of their wedding.

It’s been revealed today that Loose Women star Denise Welch has confessed to being a sex addict, and she added that she and former husband Tim Healy used to have”humdinger” rows, during which she would often attack him.

Denise, who of course formerly starred in Coronation Street and who won January’s series of Celebrity Big Brother, made her confessions during a appearance on Piers Morgan’s show, Life Stories, which was filmed on Tuesday.

During the interview, Denise told Piers, “I like sex. What’s the problem with being a sexaholic? I just like s****ing.”

And Denise, who’s engaged to Lincoln Townley, revealed that her ex Tim would often take her “by surprise” when he wanted sex.

Celebrity Big Brother star Denise Welch has written an autobiography and spilled the beans on her marriage, gone wrong.

Just after she finished on the Channel 5 show earlier this year, the Loose Women panelist hit the headlines as it was reported that she was having an affair with toyboy Lincoln Townley and insiders claimed that it had been going on for months.

The actress was pictured having intimate dinners with the party planner, just days after her husband of more than 20 years had been seen welcoming her out of the Big Brother house, with their two teenage sons.

It’s been reported today that Loose Women star Denise Welch has become engaged to her ‘toyboy’ lover Lincoln Townley.

Denise – who formerly starred in Coronation Street and Benidorm alongside former husband Tim Healy – said she is “absolutely thrilled” that she and Lincoln are to tie the knot next July.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Denise said, “I had no idea the proposal was coming.”

Loose Women and former Corrie star Denise Welch has vowed to stay off the booze after her lover Lincoln Townley decided to show her just how awful she is while drunk…

The Daily Star claims that fed up Lincoln video taped Denise as she was “drunkenly screaming abuse at him” which it seems was the wake up call she needed to stop drinking.

The paper reports that the incident happened seven weeks ago, and since then, Denise hasn’t touched a drop of booze, and as a result, she’s “feeling better than she has in years.”

A source close to the couple told the paper “Denise has had a hard- partying image for years and everyone knows when she goes on a night out she really goes for it.

Loose Women star Denise Welch caused a bit of a storm in a teacup when she revealed that she was dating ‘toyboy’ Lincoln Townley, having split from her husband, Benidorm star Tim Healy.

However, now, 53 year old Denise has told The Sun that 39 year old Lincoln is “the one” and she’s announced that they’re to marry later this year.

She’s even found a venue for the big day, and in an interview with Bella magazine – which goes on sale tomorrow – Denise talks about her experiences in the Celebrity Big Brother house, her affair with Lincoln, and even about the possibility of having IVF treatment.

Loose Women – and former Celebrity Big Brother – star Denise Welch has vowed to quit boozing for the sake of her career and her new relationship with ‘toyboy’ Lincoln Townley.

Denise has often been candid about her battles with depression and addictions, including her reliance on alcohol, however, as she’s about to tour the UK with stage play Steel Magnolias, she reckons she needs to stay sober.

Speaking to the Sun, Denise said, “I can’t do theatre and hangovers, and also Lincoln and I are in a new relationship.

Tim of course split from Loose Women star Denise Welch when it was revealed she’d been having an affair with Lincoln Townley.

A source close to Tim told the Sun, “Tim has been spending a lot of time in the pub so it’s not surprising it’s where he met his girlfriend.

It’s been reported today that former Celebrity Big Brother star Denise Welch has refused to ever sit alongside Janet Street Porter on the panel of Loose Women.

It seems that Denise and Janet have some “history” which includes “a major personality clash” and according to the Mirror, that’s given the show’s production team a few headaches as they try to ensure the pair never meet on set.

When hit ITV sitcom Benidorm returns to our screens with a new series later this month, the regular holidaymakers at the Solana are revolting…

As in, literally holding a revolt against the new hotel manager’s attempts to make the place more classy by banning karaoke and ordering guests to dress smartly.

And of course, that doesn’t go down well with the likes of the Garvey family, so the guests plot a rebellion to overthrow the new manager, “snooty” Joyce Temple-Savage, who’s played by Loose Women – and former Corrie – star Sherrie Hewson, who took over the running of the hotel from Janey (Crissy Rock).

A show insider told the Daily Star, “Joyce thinks the [hotel] is tacky and wants to make it posh. But she has a fight on her hands.

Denise Welch – who of course currently stars on Loose Women, and was formerly a Coronation Street cast member – has revealed to the Daily Mirror today the moment she thought her actor husband Tim Healy was going to die.

Tim – who shot to fame in hit sitcom Auf Weidersehn Pet and presently stars in ITV comedy Benidorm – was rushed to hospital earlier this year after suffering agonizing chest pains.

It was later revealed that he suffers from the disease, intermittent claudication, which sees the major arteries become “clogged”.

Of learning of Tim’s illness, Denise said, “I was terrified Tim could die. I tried to stay strong for him, but I was scared.”

She added, “I’m not religious but I think things happen for a reason and this has made us both stop, think and re-evaluate everything.

“I didn’t need reminding how much I love Tim, but something like this makes you value what you’ve got. It has made a big difference to our relationship… Read more & comment »

It’s been reported today that ‘Loose Women’ presenters Carol McGiffin and Denise Welsh – pictured above, top and left – are set to appear in reality show ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.

The panellists were spotted partying at show favourite The Sugar Hut this week, and they also apparently spent time at Sam and Billie Faiers’ designer store Minnies.

It’s believed the pair are keen to appear in the ITV2 show.

Denise Welch has claimed that Coleen Nolan shouldn’t be replaced on ‘Loose Women’.

The Dancing On Ice star – who is a regular panellist on the daytime TV show – is sad her friend is quitting the programme but she doesn’t think someone will take her place full-time.

Denise said: “I’ve known she’s been ready to leave for a while. She lives five miles from me so I’ll still see her socially. She’ll be a loss to the show, but it won’t make a difference to our friendship.

The 52-year-old ‘Loose Women’ presenter – who was eliminated from the ITV1 show on Sunday night after finding herself in the bottom two with Johnson Beharry – blasted the famously acid-tongued judge for comments he made about her husband, ‘Benidorm’ actor Tim Healy.
