Only two years after leaving Desperate Housewives, word is that Jesse Metcalfe is to return to the show that made him famous.
The actor, who plays gorgeous gardener John Rowland, will return during the upcoming season. OK magazine says we can expect “a lot of shirtless scenes,” which can never be a bad thing.
New shots have emerged from the set of Desperate Housewives and in them both Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) and Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany) are seen all trussed up in wedding attire.
Last season ended with a shot of Mike getting married but it was unclear whether the bride was ex wife Susan or fiancé Katherine. Seems like the DH bosses are playing this one close to their chest. Maybe the Grey’s team should take note.

“I’ve got an American visa now so I’ve spent quite a bit of time there,” she admitted. “I went to a casting for Desperate Housewives, but I haven’t got it yet.
Andrea Bowen has agreed to reprise her role of Julie Mayer in Desperate Housewives.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Julie will return as of the season première and will continue as a regular character throughout.

Kyle MacLachlan has admitted that he may quit Desperate Housewives after becoming a dad at the age of 50.
Kyle’s character, Orson Hodge, is currently facing divorce from Bree on the show, a storyline which may give him the perfect excuse to leave Wisteria Lane.
He said: “It’s getting more difficult going back and forth. I’ll do the next series and see how it goes.”

Teri Hatcher has revealed how she made a scrapbook of all the memorable moments from Desperate Housewives for her departing co-star Nicollette Sheridan.
Hatcher told Us Weekly: “She will definitely be missed. I think she is irreplaceable, but I do think that a neighbourhood, kind of like an ER, is a place where people rotate through.
“There are so many great actors and so many storylines imaginable that there has to be a way to fill and surprise the audience with something new.”
Dana Delaney dropped some hints about the future of her Desperate Housewives character Katherine Mayfair.
Dana told E! News that while a pregnancy was unlikely, an engagement was expected. She also confirmed that there may be a imminent proposal between Susan (Teri Hatcher) and Jackson (Gale Harold).
However we don’t know if Susan will say agree to marry Jackson, on the subject Teri Hatcher said: “The first scene where [Harold] is back on the street is really spicy. It was really great to see him again and I think all that came across on film, so it’s great to have him back.”

Dumped Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan – who played Edie – has slated ABC, and the show’s creator Marc Cherry, saying that she believes the show is “losing its appeal”.
Nicollette played Edie Britt for five years but it seems that she felt she and her character were undervalued by Marc Cherry.
She told TV Guide, “When you have a jewel, why not polish it and put it out there for all to see?”
