The actors who have signed up to play Desperate Housewives first gay couple have been revealed.
Tuc Watkins and Kevin Rahm have been revealed as the newest additions to the cast. Watkins is best known for his roles in Showtime series Beggars and Choosers and ABC soap opera One Life To Live, and Rahm, starred alongside Jude Law in Alfie.

One of the main Desperate Housewives star is to leave the show in the next series.
Many people expected this to be Edie Britt (eg Nicolette Sheridan) who was seen hanging herself in the last series finale. But although Nicolette’s future has been assured, top sources suggest that one of the other main characters will be leaving.

Desperate Housewives creator, Marc Cherry, has revealed that football star David Beckham would like to star in the show alongside Robbie Williams.
Marc thinks the pair would be an ideal match: “David and Robbie are perfect to star as the new neighbours’ best friends - the gorgeous, eccentric couple flown over from Blighty.
“David’s keen, but though the obvious choice was to work with Tom Cruise, we wanted someone who matches him in height and well, Britishness, so Robbie is the one. Read more & comment »
Desperate Housewives writer and creator Marc Cherry has revealed that the show will be getting its first gay couple later this year.
Cherry told afterelton.com: “We’re going to have the first male desperate housewives.
“They will move into the old Applewhite house, and one of the gay men will just have a fractious, hateful relationship with [Susan Mayer],” he continued.

The Sun has revealed today that Desperate Housewife, Susan will marry Mike at the end of the current series.
Susan (played by Terri Hatcher) weds Mike (James Denton) as Gaby (Eva Longoria) marries newly-elected mayor Victor in the series finalé.
Desperate Housewives star, Marcia Cross, has promised the show producers that she won’t be getting pregnant again any time soon.
Marcia recently had twins and for the last few months of her pregnancy, after the doctors recommended bed rest, producers had to turn her real life home into a film set.
“I promised him I wouldn’t get pregnant, but you never know if there’s an adoption in the future,” Marcia joked.
Due to the slump in its annual profits, Channel 4 have announced that they are considering cutting all imported American programmes such as Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty.
Director of programmes Kevin Lygo said:
“My preference will be to cut acquired programming. That would certainly be the first place we cut before we cut domestic commissioning.”
That would be a shame. I only watch Channel 4 for the American shows and Big Brother. I can’t imagine that losing their biggest shows would help their profits any!
The Sun has reported that Desperate Housewives character Edie Britt, strips off and beds Gabrielle’s ex- husband Carlos.
The Sun reports:
Distraught Edie (Nicolette Sheridan) turns to Carlos after her secret son Travers is dumped at her house by her ex. An insider said: “The pair grow close as Carlos looks after Travers.
“It reignites his need to have babies — and ignites something else entirely in Edie.”
The steamy scene is on Channel 4 later this year.
