Dexter actress, Julie Benz has revealed that the season four finale of the show, left the whole cast in shock.
The 37-year-old actress, who plays Rita on the show, told Cinemablend:
“Obviously at the beginning of the season we see Rita has it all,” she said. “I mean, she has everything she’s ever wanted. She has the perfect husband, the great kids, the new baby, the dream house in the suburbs but you know, just like anything, nothing great lasts forever.
Michael C hall has spoken about the upcoming fourth season of Dexter and how the serial killer copes with being a first time dad.
E! was at Comic con yesterday for the Dexter seminar and quote Hall as saying:
“The theory of being a father appealed to Dexter… but he didn’t appreciate how trapped it might make him feel and how difficult it would be to exercise his compulsions,” he said.
The people behind Dexter really are genius when it comes to promo posters and title sequences. I have always thought the show is marketed magnificently and this latest poster for season four is no exception.
The poster shows not a serial killer splattered in blood, but a baby splattered in sauce.
I love the thought that Dexter has spawned and I can’t wait to see how he deals with fatherhood and whether he tries to press Harry’s code on his son.
Michael C Hall has admitted that the producers of Dexter walk a fine line with his character.
In a sit down chat with THR.com, Hall said that whilst they played about with the idea of rehabilitating Dexter in the second season, it didn’t work and that the writers constantly wrestle with trying to make Dexter seem more human, without having him grow a heart.
In the clip above Bill Paxton also opens up about his role in Big Love. A show in which he plays a mormon polygamist. He says the writers do a good job of basing the storylines in a grey area which is easy for people to understand and associate with.
