The BBC has released three brand new Doctor Who posters to promote the upcoming episodes, Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS, The Crimson Horror and Nightmare in Silver.
The image shown at the top of this article is for Next Saturday’s episode, Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS which has been written by Steve Thompson and features gust stars Ashley Walters (Van Baalen), Mark Oliver (Bram Van Baalen), and Jahvel Hall (Tricky Van Baalen) as “intergalactic salvage crew” characters.

Jenna-Louise Coleman, the actress who plays the Time Lord’s current companion Clara Oswald in Doctor Who, has revealed details of the upcoming appearance of Dame Diana Rigg and her daughter, Rachel Stirling, in the epic sci-fi family entertainment show.
As we reported earlier this year Dame Diana is one of many high-profile cameos making their Doctor Who debut this series, but it will be the first time that she has ever appeared on screen with her daughter, Rachel (apart from home movies we assume!)

This week has seen the annual Comic-Con event in San Diego attracting enormous crowds of celebrities and press as news about the USA’s top shows does the rounds…
And today, the PA reveal that British actress Diana Rigg, who’s 73 and who formerly starred in cult drama The Avengers, has been cast in HBO’s hit drama Game of Thrones in the role of Olenna Tyrell, who’s also known as the Queen of Thorns.

Mother and daughter team Rachael Stirling and Diana Rigg have been announced as new additions to the upcoming series of Doctor Who.
The news was confirmed on Twitter this morning, after the official Doctor Who account tweeted fans writing:
‘Mother and daughter Dame Diana Rigg and Rachael Stirling will star in the new series of #DoctorWho! More news follows shortly!’
