In next week’s episodes of EastEnders, when Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) gets a letter from Alfie’s solicitor about their divorce, she goes to find him to tell him that she’d prefer it if they worked things out between them, without involving lawyers…
However, while she’s at the Vic, Kat has yet another run-in with Alfie’s lover Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) and realizing that with ‘Peroxide’ in the picture, things are unlikely to be plain sailing, Kat decides she should think about getting a solicitor herself.
She later discusses it with Kirsty Branning (Kierston Wareing) who tells Kat that she knows of a very good solicitor, and offers her his number. And though she’s still not sure what to do, Kat takes it. Read more & comment »

The drama begins after Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) snatches baby Lexi from Phil’s house following a court ruling that the child had to remain with Phil (Steve McFadden) for the time being. Fans of EastEnders will know that Cora Cross (Ann Mitchell) is persona non grata as far as Dot Branning is concerned, given that while Dot was away from the Square, she allowed Cora to live in her house on condition she paid the rent and the bills…
However, Cora did neither, so now, poor Dot (June Brown) faces the possibility of losing her home and is in debt as she tries to pay all the bills left by Cora.
So when things suddenly begin disappearing, Dot – who threw Cora out a couple of weeks ago – suspects that her former houseguest is taking stealing the items. And in the episode that airs on Tuesday, March 5th, when some cuts of cold meat mysteriously vanish from the fridge, Dot storms off to confront Cora and to demand she hand back the keys to the house. Fans of EastEnders will of course know that single dad Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd) has only just given Alice Branning (Jasmyn Banks) her job back as nanny to his baby girl, Scarlett…
However, as we’ll see in next week’s episodes, cash strapped Michael is left embarrassed when he can’t afford to pay Alice, so he comes up with a somewhat bizarre suggestion as to how they might raise some cash!
It all begins on Monday, March 4th when Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) asks Alice to repay the money she loaned her the week before. Alice says she just has to get her wages from Michael, and goes off to do just that… Read more & comment »

Ian Beale and Denise Fox have been flirting to and fro for a while now, however, in next week’s episodes, we’ll see them spending the night together, albeit in somewhat unusual circumstances after they get locked in at the Minute Mart!
The comedic drama begins on Wednesday, March 6th when Denise (Diane Parish) goes to see Ian (Adam Woodyatt) to thank him for having a chat with housebound Patrick (Rudolph Walker).
However, when Ian tries to pay Denise a compliment, he fluffs it, leaving Denise somewhat insulted instead. So in an effort to make up for the gaffe, Ian later goes to the Minute Mart to buy chocolates for Denise, and all’s going well until Ian remarks that as neither of them are getting any younger, and unlikely to get any better offers, perhaps they should hook up… Read more & comment »

Coming up next week on EastEnders, Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) is anxious and stressed ahead of a court hearing to decide if she can get back custody of her daughter Lexi, who has of course been in Phil Mitchell’s care for the last few months…
However, on the day of the hearing, the troubled teen disappears and for a while, it seems she’s not going to make the court in time. But after a few words of advice from Poppy (Rachel Bright) Lola’s determined to show the court she is fit to look after her daughter.
And as we’ll see on Monday, March 4th, when her social worker Trish tells the judge that Lola’s doing really well in terms of putting down roots and working to provide a stable home for Lexi, things are looking good. Read more & comment »

In forthcoming episodes of EastEnders, Denise Fox and Ian Beale are set to become more than just friends, and it’s a plot twist that’s taken actress Diane Parish, who of course plays Denise, completely by surprise!
Speaking to Inside Soap, Diane – who’s starred on the show since 2006 – said, “I didn’t see this coming at all!
“When the bosses first told me, I think there must have been some tumbleweed and a few crickets chirping – my reaction was like, ‘Eh?’
“But then I was overjoyed because Adam Woodyatt [who plays Ian] is one of the best actors in the show.
“He knows his character inside out, yet he’s always willing to try something new.” Read more & comment »

As we reported earlier, when Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) believes he’s killed Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) he goes into panic mode and initially plans to flee Walford…
However, though it will transpire that he didn’t kill Phil, he will be at his love rival’s mercy because of course, if Phil tells the police the truth about what happened, Jack could well go to prison, and for an ex police officer, that isn’t a happy prospect!
But in the episode that airs on Tuesday 26th February, Jack still believes that he’s killed Phil, and in a desperate state, he gets drunk in the Vic, and after having had several too many, he declares that he’s just like his brother Derek and adds that he’s going to end up in prison… Read more & comment »

Things haven’t been easy for Alice Branning (Jasmyn Banks) of late, given that she lost her dad Derek over Christmas, then in the New Year, she lost her job in a recruitment agency…
However, it looked like things were on the up and up when Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd) took her on as nanny to his baby daughter Scarlett, but as viewers will know, he sacked her after her overprotective brother Joey (David Witts) wrongly assumed Alice was doing more for Michael than merely caring for his child.
So it’s little wonder that as the date of Derek’s birthday rolls around, Alice is left yet more despondent when she realises that nobody other than herself has remembered the event. Read more & comment »

Fans of EastEnders will know that Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) has been reliant on Denise and Kim Fox since his accident, and being the proud man he is, not being able to do things for himself is taking a toll on him…
However, when things come to a head for frustrated invalid Patrick next week, he’ll act completely out of character when he lashes out at Denise (Diane Parish) knocking her to the floor and cutting her face in the process!
The drama begins on Thursday, February 28th when a bored Patrick persuades Denise to take him out to the café for breakfast, however, while they’re there, Patrick’s furious when Denise cuts up his food, and declaring that he’s sick of being treated like a child, he demands to be taken home. The drama begins on Monday, February 25th when Jack tells Sharon (Letitia Dean) that she could earn far more money running a club in the West End than she’s currently earning running R&R for Phil…

As fans of EastEnders will know, poor Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) has had a nasty fall, following which he was hospitalized, but when he learns that he’s going to need a lot of help when he goes home, proud and independent Patrick is devastated…
And as we’ll see next week, fearing that he’d be a burden on Denise and Kim Fox, Patrick will tell them that he’s going to go and live with his son Anthony in Scotland. However, though neither Denise (Diane Parish) nor Kim (Tameka Empson) come out and say it, they’re hurt that Patrick won’t be coming home to let them care for him.

And of course, following the revelation and a series of heart-to-hearts, Zainab left Masood and Walford for good last week, leaving the way open for Ayesha to come back, and she does!

However, poor Tanya’s set to get a shock when she walks into No5 and sees her daughters Abi and Lauren having dinner – and evidently having a laugh – with their dad Max (Jake Wood) and his wife, Kirsty!
