Eastenders: 27th June 2008

In tonights Eastenders episode, Denise bonds with Lucas’s son in the latest visit to Albert Square.

Meanwhile, a mysterious benefactor settles Bianca’s restaurant bill.

Denise is played by Diane Parish and Bianca is played by Patsy Palmer.

Eastenders: Keith and Mickey Leave Walford

Keith and Mickey Miller are set to leave Eastenders next Tuesday night.

The Millers house caught fire last week as Mad May caused a gas explosion after failing to get her hans on baby Summer.

Now, with nowhere to live, Keith makes up with his estranged wife Rosie, and he and Mickey go to live with her.

Actor David Spinx, who plays Keith, told The Daily Star: “My departure from EastEnders is quite dramatic and heroic. Viewers won’t believe it but Keith gets good.”

David, 57, hopes he’ll be able to move on from Keith Miller. Read more & comment »

Eastenders: Stacey and Bradley Reunite

It’s been coming for a while and anyone could spot it coming, but Eastenders stars Lacey Turner and Charlie Clements have confirmed that their characters, Stacey and Bradley will most likely reunite on the BBC One soap.

Lacey told the TV Times: “Dot and Jean notice there’s still a spark between Bradley and Stacey, so they trick them and they get locked in Dot’s house.

“They’re meant to be together! If anyone deserves a second chance at love it’s these two. Since the split, they’ve tried to be with other people and they’ve just been miserable. But who knows what will happen?” Read more & comment »

Eastenders: June Brown Says Smoking Ban Has Ruined Her Life

Eastenders actress, June Brown has said that the new smoking ban has ruined what years she has left of her life.

June, who plays Dot Branning on the BBC soap, said on This Morning:

This Morning yesterday, saying: “I’ve been here hours and I’ve only had two cigarettes outside, standing up. I shall bring me stool with me next time.

“I don’t like doing interviews very much. I don’t like not being able to smoke.

“I keep saying I’m not going to go anywhere where I’m not allowed to smoke, then I find I’ve done it. Read more & comment »

Eastenders: Steve McFadden Injured On Set

Eastenders actor, Steve McFadden has injured his hand whilst filming the BBC soap.

The actor, who plays Phil Mitchell on the show fell down a flight of stairs and was rushed to hosiptal near BBC One show’s Hertfordshire studios. Doctors there put pins in his bones and gave him 30 stitches.

“I’m feeling much better,” McFadden told The Sun newspaper.

Eastenders: Max Is Coming Back!!!!

Tanya Branning better make the most of her secret sex session with brother in law Jack, as her estranged husband Max is about to come waltzing back into her life.

Max returns next week after receiving a text message from Tanya’s phone, of course he doesn’t realise that it was sent by his daughter Abi.

An insider told The Daily Star: “Max is the master manipulator.

Eastenders: Alex Ferns Typecast As Bad Boy!

Former Eastenders actor, Alex Ferns has complained about the difficulty to find other work since playing the role of Trevor Morgan on the show.

Alex told Daily Record: “It’s a tough one, although I really loved doing EastEnders it has been hard to get seen for stuff because of that character.

“That character was so imbedded in the public imagination it is very hard to move out of it. In theatre and film, I’m definitely not seen as a soap actor. I get auditions and I’m seen for everything, really good stuff. Read more & comment »

Eastenders: Amanda Drew Is Ecstatic With Mad May’s Return

Eastenders actress, Amanda Drew, has revealed that she was ecstatic when the soap’s boss Diederick Santer approached her in January and asked her to return to the show.

Amanda told MSN: “Diederick always said he’d like to bring May back at some point and I’d always hoped she’d have more time in the Square, as it did feel like the ending wasn’t completely resolved before,” she says, with a mysterious smile. Read more & comment »

I don’t know about you, but the recent Eastenders scenes with Mad May trying to wangle some time with baby Summer have actually frightened me a little.

In tonight’s episode May has a bit of a breakdown in front of Jase, but bigger things are to come as she tries to blow up the Millers home next week.
