The Sci-Fi TV channel have announced that they are picking up US legal drama, Eli Stone.

The show stars Jonny Lee Miller as attorney Eli Stone. In the first episode, Stone is discovered to have an inoperable brain aneurysm which is causing hallucinations. His visions often predict future cases and events, including an impending earthquake.

“It’s a real coup to bring Eli Stone, and George Michael’s first ever drama performance, to the UK,” said Jon Farrar, Sci Fi’s programming director. “We’re especially thrilled that it’s such an inventive and uplifting fantasy that fits in so perfectly with our channel brand.”

Sci-Fi have bought he rights to the first two series of the show. The first series will kick off this autumn and series two will launch in the States this October. Katie Holmes will guest star in the newest series.
