ITV2 has announced that it’s commissioned a new series that follows the search for real love and which highlights the realities of dating.

Three, which will be produced by Studio Lambert, is a new series in which three single women of different ages, life experiences and backgrounds meet for the first time with a common goal— to find true love.

As they search for a partner, they will share their lives and emotionally support one another during the dating and decision-making process…

The eight part series, which will be hosted by Emma Willis, will offer an exciting twist as our singletons face a host of make or break decisions. At the end of each episode, the three girls and their ‘dates’ will decide if they wish to continue seeing each other, but the feeling has to be mutual. Alexander Armstrong, who began his TV career as a comedy actor, has become the darling of game shows of late – though I still fail to see why anyone would take part or even watch Pointless – and he’s about to add another notch to his game show belt with Prize Island, which is set to air on ITV later this year.

He’ll host the new game show alongside Big Brother’s Bit on the Side host Emma Willis, and both will oversee four couples who will “battle for survival” and to win the prize of £50,000. And as you’ll see after the jump, ITV are looking for peeps who want to compete on the show.

To be filmed on what the Sun describes as “an exotic hideaway” the contestants will have to use all their skills and resourcefulness in a series of challenges spanning four rounds.

In pairs, the contestants will sent off into jungle-like areas to carry out their challenges, until just one couple walks away with the money from the Buried Treasure finale round… Read more & comment »

Emma Willis has quit Live From Studio Five, just two months after joining the show.

Emma was brought in to replace Melinda Messenger, who was famously feuding with co-host Ian Wright but will now leave so that she can front Big Brother’s Big Mouth for Channel 4.

After a very public row between Live From Studio Five presenter Ian Wright and his former colleague Melinda Messenger, Five have appointed a replacement for the former model.

Emma Willis, who presented extra coverage of the recent Celebrity Big Brother series will be joining the nightly news show.
