Poor Brenda Walker has had a terrible time of it for the last few months, having first learned that she has a potentially life threatening tumour, then, having delayed surgery as long as she could, she finally had the op to remove the cancer…

However, now Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) has to have chemotherapy to ensure all her cancer is gone, but as a result, she’ll lose her hair and feel more ill than ever.

But as a way of thanking her boyfriend Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) for not only his loyal support but also for still loving her no matter what, she tells her daughter Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) that she wants to marry Bob, but she wants to spring a wedding on him as a surprise! As we reported recently, Debbie Dingle’s name is mud in the village after Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) was rushed to hospital suffering from alcohol poisoning after she downed a bottle of Debbie’s knockoff vodka…

Nikhil Sharma, along with most of the rest of his family, were shocked to the core when his dad Rishi (Bhasker Patel) announced that he was baby Archie Breckle’s father…

As we reported earlier, Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) is set to become the victim of a hit and run incident after drunken friends Adam Barton and Robbie Lawson leave her for dead at the side of the road after ploughing into her on a country lane…

However, as soon as Kerry is rushed to hospital, her next of kin, daughter Amy (Chelsea Halfpenny) is informed, and she and Kerry’s anxious ex Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) race to the hospital.
