Award winning actress, Kathryn Joosten, star of Desperate Housewives, has sadly passed away aged 72 after a long battle with lung cancer.
Joosten, who played Karen McCluskey in the hit show, won two Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series Emmy Awards in 2005 & 2008 for her Wysteria Lane role , as well starring as secretary Mrs Landingham in The West Wing, and Aunt Jackie in the blockbuster kids film, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.

William H. Macy has admitted that he doesn’t intend to star alongside wife Felicity Huffman on Desperate Housewives.
Felicity has played the role of Lynette Scavo since the beginning of the show and Fargo told OK:
“It feels like that’s her gig, and she’s so good on the show. I love watching her on it so much that I think it’s best that I not do it.”

Movie star William H Macy has defended his wife Felicity Huffman and claimed that while she might not be the most conventionally beautiful, she is the sexiest actress on Desperate Housewives.
The actor says he is fed up with Huffman’s co-stars Eva Longoria Parker, Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross and Nicollette Sheridan overshadowing his partner and commanding much of the fans attentions.

The fourth series of the hit US drama, Desperate Housewives has just kicked off in the States, and prepare to be shocked by scenes of a bald Lynette (AKA Felicity Huffman) battling cancer and chemtherapy are shown.
But don’t despair, it won’t be all doom and gloom down on Wisteria lane.
Creator Marc Cherry said her fight will be both emotional and comical. He explained: “What we wanted to do is examine the effects illness had on family and friends.
