Five are getting geared up for the premiere of American TV show, FlashForward and they have released the above promo this week.

We haven’t got an exact date for the premiere yet, however it will be during the week beginning 28th September.

FlashForward is coming to our screens later this year on Five. The clip above introduces Dominic Monaghan to us and he seems to be quite the cool character!

Flashforward launches in America this month, Five have picked it up for the UK but a premiere date has not yet been confirmed.

FlashForward producer Marc Guggenheim has revealed some details of Dominic Monaghan’s character, just weeks aead of the show’s launch.

Speaking to E! Online, Guggenheim described Monaghan’s Simon as ‘the most intelligent man in the world.’

“Dominic Monaghan’s character Simon is the smartest man in the world, and he definitely knows it,” he said. “He’s mysterious, but not just for story reasons. He’s a mysterious kind of person.

Dominic Monaghan has been confirmed for ABC’s new drama series FlashForward.

The revelation was made this week at Comic-Con, when the show’s producer David S. Groyer initially refused to confirm or deny rumours surrounding Monaghan’s casting.

However just minutes later fans were treated to a sneak preview of the series, in the clip the Lost actor featured as a character named Simon.

Five has acquired for this Autumn, the hotly tipped new US drama FlashForward, starring British actors Joseph Fiennes and Jack Davenport, from Disney-ABC-ESPN Television, it was announced today.

The 13 episode drama will debut in prime time in the US on ABC, on Thursday, September 24th at 8pm before Grey’s Anatomy. Five has acquired the exclusive UK terrestrial and digital rights for FIVER and Five USA.
