The end is nigh. From Wednesday 24 October at 10pm, cult favourite FRINGE embarks on its fifth and final season exclusively on Sky 1 HD. Created by JJ Abrams, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, the writing team behind hit reboot Star Trek, and boasting a stellar cast including Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson and John Noble, FRINGE has garnered a dedicated and passionate fan base over its five years on screen.
Autumn, or ‘fall’ as our cousins across the pond call it, sees the return to UK TV of many of America’s top export TV shows, such as all of the above mentioned as well as The Middle, The Glee Project, Homeland, Grimm and loads more!

In the wake of the list of this years Emmy nominations one of the front-runners is the HBO hit medieval fantasy Game Of Thrones.
Nominated for both the highly prestigious awards for Best Drama and Best Supporting Actor for Peter Dinklage, this adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s series of novels, A Song of Ice and Fire, is well-known for its graphic content, including sex and violence, and is being tipped to do very well in the ceremony, which will be presented Sept. 23 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. With the nominations for the 64th Emmy Awards announced last week, many people were surprised that popular US sci-fi show, Fringe, was left out of the running, and none were more surprised than the original Mr Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy.
The Star Trekactor took to social networking site, Twitter, on Thursday to voice his disappointment, tweeting to fans:, “No Emmy nomination for Fringe. Ridiculous.So much talent. So much hard work. So much imagination. LLAP.” Read more & comment »
It’s all a-changing over in the Fringe camp this month it would seem.
The hit Fox sci-fi series will soon return for it’s final and final season but it seems they will be without one central member of staff for their last run.
It has been confirmed today that executive producer Jeff Pinkner will not be working on the last episodes of the show and has stepped down from the franchise, to work on a number of new projects.
Comic Con is only weeks away and today, HBO have confirmed that some of the stars of their biggest series’ will be there.
It was already revealed that famous faces behind The Vampire Diaries and Glee would be taking residence in San Diego next month and this afternoon, bosses confirmed that Game of Thrones and True Blood will also be in attendance at the event.
It’s the news that Fringe fans worldwide have been waiting for, Fox have picked the sci-fi drama up for a fifth season.
At one point it looked likely that the cult favourite would be axed by the US TV network, among reports of falling ratings and some criticisms of confusing storylines, however executive producer Joel Wyman confirmed that the channel have picked up a fifth season, though only for 13 episodes at first.
After the last mind blowing and confusingly brilliant episode of Fringe, we are on edge of our seat, waiting to see what happens in our favourite show next, so this trailer could not have come soon enough!

Joshua Jackson was rushed to hospital this afternoon, after he suffered a serious allergic reaction.
The Fringe actor was seen at a Santa Monica hospital in California today, though thankfully after receiving medical treatment he was able to walk out a few hours later alongside his girlfriend Diane Kruger.

Today we were elated to discover that there is finally some long awaited Fringe scoop, as Fox released their first teaser clip for the fourth season.

John Noble (Walter Bishop) told TV Guide:
“We all knows how much Walter loves music, right? Well, this fellow was one of his icons,” explained Noble. “He adored this man. So Walter gets to be a bit of a fanboy.”
Fringe actors, Joshua Jackson and John Noble, have revealed that the season finale of the show will “answer most questions” and be “jaw dropping.”
In an interview with Fancast, Joshua said, “We answer most of the questions that were posed for season two, and launch many questions for season three.”

Sources suggest that sci fi drama Fringe will air a musical episode in May 2010. SciFi Wire reports that the song filled episode will air as part of a Glee-themed week of musical programming and will feature the cast of the series singing popular songs.
