Joshua Jackson has revealed that he had to recive hospital treatment after a torture scene in Sky Onne show Fringe went wrong.
The former Dawson’s Creek star plays Peter Bishop in the sci-fi series said: “They didn’t even use the take because there was blood coming out of my nose, and it didn’t fit into the scene. I was strapped onto a table, and we stuck a copper wire up my nose with a rubber protector, but that popped off during the scene in the midst of all the craziness, so it tore my sinus. It felt like someone taking a steel wheel to the back of your eyeball.”

I love Fringe because it’s clever, interesting, it doesn’t take itself too seriously and most importantly, it makes constant reference to Lost, which sends my Lost-Clue-O-Meter off the scale.
It’s by no means as good as Lost, but I don’t think it was never meant to be. The characters are often way OTT, the coincidences just too unbelievable and as for Walter, well, he’s managed to carry out work that would normally take dozens of the biggest scientific brains generations to achieve, yet he managed it all before he got locked away in Saint Clare’s. By the by, Hurley of course was in Santa Rosa – both Saint something and both Clare and Rose are Lost characters.
Joshua Jackson has revealed that he was unsure about returning to TV in J.J. Abrams TV show, Fringe.
Joshua took a five year TV break after starring as Pacey Whitter in teen drama, Dawson’s Creek and after that experience wasn’t sure about making such a huge commitment again.
“I was never really convinced completely that I wanted to come back and work in television because it’s such a massive undertaking,” MSN quote him as saying.

Well, JJ Abrams is officially my new idol and I may get a small replica of him made and chant before it twice daily. I’ve been very behind the times for one reason and another and missed the start of Fringe, but last night, I downloaded the pilot and episode two and I’m hooked.
It’s not as good as Lost for sure but it has sent me into a conspiracy theorist tizz… is Fringe intertwined with Lost?
Is it providing clues and will ultimately be revealed as the back story to the Dharma Initiative or is JJ Abrams just sitting back and having a titter knowing that Lost nuts like me are getting all excited about little things in Fringe that could relate to Lost?
This new series from the makers of Lost has got off to a great start and tonight, the team make use of a man who says he receives visions from God when he sees some bus passengers caught in a fatal gas attack; a real one, not just someone farting on the bus… bad though that is.
Fox TV network has picked up the entire first season of new US drama, Fringe.
The show launched in America last month to slightly dodgy ratings however its fan base has grown and last Tuesday it averaged 10.9 million in the 9PM slot.
“The series has taken off creatively, and it’s exciting to see that the audience is responding,” said Kevin Reilly, entertainment president at Fox. Read more & comment »
