Last seen in cancelled Firefly, Gina Torres is next to appear on CW’s Gossip Girl.
Gina has also previously starred in Alias and 24 and is now to join Gossip as Gabriela Abrams, the mother of Vanessa Abram.
Abrams is billed as a “free spirit” living “off the grid” in Vermont. She will appear in two episodes, having a strong opinion about her daughter who is about to enroll at New York University.

Lonely boy Dan Humphreys is going to hook up with she-witch from hell, Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl’s upcoming season.
There is a hint of things to come in the newest promo for the series , but sources also confirmed to EOnline that the pair would reconnect during their college freshman year.

When Dan met his secret long lost brother at the end of Gossip girl season two, I did wonder if he was a bad guy, just after the van der Woodsen money. However EW.com have revealed that the above pictured love in, is for real and Scott’s only agenda was to find his birth parents.
Gossip Girl season two only ended a few weeks ago on ITV2 and already I am having withdrawal symptoms. Season three looks completely fab though, so hopefully the wait will be worth it.

Leighton Meester has admitted that she is hoping Chuck and Blair’s on screen drama continues throughout season three.
Meester, who plays Blair Waldorf in The CW drama, told E! Online:

Top Model host Tyra Banks has signed on to appear in the upcoming season of Gossip Girls according to E!.
Tyra will be starring alongside Hilary Duff, who will be playing a movie star looking for the authentic college experience. Hilary’s character will be rooming with Vanessa and Banks is due to show up in episode four.

Hilary Duff is to join the cast of teen drama Gossip Girl.
Entertainment Weekly has reported that Duff will join the show for the new season, due to air next year in the UK. She will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at New York University and ends up rooming with Vanessa.
Gossip Girl star Blake Lively has admitted that she gets nervous when she is due to wear a skimpy outfit on the American teen drama.
Blake often has to wear tight and revealing clothes when playing Serena van der Woodsen but doesn’t work out or diet beforehand.
She explained to Britain’s Glamour magazine: “I do panic before I have to wear a really skimpy outfit, but I don’t have enough willpower. I had to do a scene in a bra and shorts for the first time in two years.

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has admitted that he and co-star Chace Crawford sometimes get sent “weird” fan mail.
Westwick, aka Chuck Bass told Metro: “I’ve been getting some weird mail, that’s for sure.”
“There have been a couple of nights where some of the girls who live there have obviously got a bit drunk and written love letters and slipped them under the door. We have one stuck up on the fridge.
