Former Crossing Jordan star Jerry O’Connell, will be replacing Heroes actor Sendhil Ramamurthy in NBC’s pilot ‘Rex Is Not Your Lawyer.’
The announcement that Sendhil had been cast in the show was made just last week. The role was to take second place to Sendhil’s current role as Mohinder on Heroes, however The Hollywood Reporter states that the change was made due to scheduling conflicts.
On hearing the news that Heroes actor Sendhil Ramamurthy had been cast in new NBC pilot ‘Rex Is Not Your Lawyer’, many fans emailed us, asking if this was the last we’d see of Mohinder on the sci-fi show.
It may well be, but not in the way you might have thought. It turns out that Sendhil committed to the new show because the whole cast is working on the assumption that they are currently working on Heroes final season.

The Hollywood Reporter, well reports, that Ramamurthy, who is best known as Mohinder Suresh on Heroes, will be a regular character on the show. He will play a lawyer who falls for Rex’s girlfriend Abigail Spencer. Rex of course will be played by Doctor Who star David Tennant.
Jane Curtin has also been cast in the role of Rex’s mother and mentor.
Heroes star Greg Grunberg revealed on his Twitter account today that Battlestar Galactica actress Kate Vernon will make a guest appearance in Heroes sometime this season.

Heroes producer Adam Armus has confirmed that a major character will be killed in the current season of the show.
Reports have already suggested that the character for the chop will be male, and one of the original cast.
“We always pull surprises on Heroes,” Armus told SciFi Wire. “That’s all I have to say.
“It is an epic battle. It’s an epic struggle between two very well-loved characters, and it’s going to be really compelling.”
Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere has admitted that she enjoyed filming her lesbian kiss for the show and found the whole experience ‘exciting.’
The actress, who plays Claire Bennet in the BBC2 hit, shared a smooch with her on screen college roommate Madeline Zima.
NBC are obviously desperate for viewers. First Claire’s lesbian kiss, now they have announced that there will be a death in the new season.
The identity of the doomed charcater has not yet been made public, but Eonline have revealed that it will be a male and will be one of the original cast.
Hayden Panettiere has admitted that she is becoming increasingly frustrated with the media speculation that surrounds her life.
The Heroes actress says that she finds it hard to be friends with men, as the media jumps to so many conclusions.
“I can’t stand next to anyone of the opposite sex without being linked to them or dating them. It is so frustrating,” Showbiz Spy quotes Panettiere as saying.
Remember Charlie, the cute waitress who stole Hiro’s heart way back in season one? Well she (played by Jayma Mays of course) will be returning to the show for one episode next season.
Charlie was a victim of Sylar’s and as the terminally ill Hiro travels back and forward through time, trying to complete his bucket list and put right things he did badly in the past, it stands to reason that he would want to save his almost girlfriend. Given that Mays is only returning for one episode, I don’t fancy his chances much.
Hayden Panettiere has hit out at the culture of celebrity and extensive media coverage, which leads to people judging her in every aspect of her life.
The Heroes actress claims that most media reports about her are false and says that the public don’t know the real her.
Heroes actor Greg Grunberg has admitted that he has been asked to return to Lost for its final season. I bet he was offered a much larger fee this time round!
Grunberg appeared in the pilot of Lost as Seth Norris, pilot of Oceanic 815. He also returned for a brief cameo in season four.
“If NBC will allow it, I will go back,” Grunberg told TV Guide Magazine.

Zachary Quinto is one convincing actor! The Heroes star found himself being questioned by cops this week whilst he was filming a video for comedy website, Funny or Die.
Zach was pretending to hold up L.A. bakery Kiss My Bundt when a concerned citizen called the police.
Bakery owner Chrysta (how American is that name?) Wilson told Eonline:
Heroes season four is due to return to our screens later this year and Tim Kring has promised that it will be less complicated for the viewers.
The theme of the season will be redemption and the promo above brings up some of the great storylines we can look forward to.

“Heroes” is set to get more sinister this season with the addition of Robert Knepper as a series regular.
Knepper is best known as the troublesome T-Bag on Prison Break. His new character Samuel aka “Carnival Barker”, will be an evil Earth-moving ringleader of a travelling carnival, who attempts to recruit more of our favourite heroes into his group.
Tim Kring has been speaking at the Heroes Comic Con panel this week and he revealed that season four of the show will see the ‘Heroes’ returning to normal life.
He believes it will make the show more understandable and believable to see Claire in college and Peter as a paramedic, Nathan as a senator and so on.
