ITV has recommissioned iconic primetime show Surprise Surprise for a second series. Made by ITV Studios, the 10 part series will broadcast on the channel later this year.
Surprise Surprise is hosted by Holly Willoughby, who will award life-changing surprises to ordinary people with extraordinary stories.
So here we are at the second of The Voice UK’s Battle Round episodes as twelve more acts attempt to get further in the competition either by winning their battle or being stolen by another coach. As I mentioned last night, I wasn’t a big fan of the Steal Option and that feeling continued with tonight’s instalment.
This Morning legends, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan will be returning to the hit ITV chat show to join in with its 25th birthday celebrations, the Sun newspaper reports.
Richard and Judy first hosted the show, currently hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, when it first launched back in 1988 up until 2001, before leaving to host hosting the daily chat show Richard & Judy from 2001 until 2009.

Last year Debbie (Charley Webb) had to deal with her daughter, Sarah, being diagnosed with a potentially terminal condition, forcing Debbie to resort to the extreme measure of sleeping with her ex, Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) in order to conceive a ‘saviour sibling’ to provide the young girl with a match for a life-saving transplant.
Whilst carrying the child Debbie leaned heavily on her fiancé, Cameron Murray (Dominic Powers) but, unbeknown to her, he was having an affair with Debbie’s best friend, and aunt, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

The future Queen, Kate Middleton, has seen off tough competition from a bevy of celebrity beauties to be named the most naturally beautiful woman in the UK.
The 30-year-old’s English rose looks earned her first place in the top ten list, ahead of a host of striking celebrities including Kelly Brook, Holly Willoughby, Cheryl Cole and even her younger sibling Pippa Middleton.
After what has been one of the biggest cans of worms the TV industry has ever seen opened and emptied all over the media, Esther Rantzen has appeared on live TV to deny recent claims that she had hidden information regarding Jimmy Savile’s alleged child abuse for over 18 years!
We reported earlier this week how an abuse campaigner had come forward to say how she alerted the notorious child protector over 18 years ago when she learned of what Savile had been up to, but that no action was taken by the former That’s Life star.

Celebrity Juice Captain, and Radio One DJ, Fearne Cotton has announced the happy news that she is expecting her first baby with boyfriend, Jesse Wood.
Cotton, who’s best friend Holly Willoughby has two children already, made the announcement last night in a blog, telling fans: “Some lovely news. Jesse and I are very happy to announce we are having a baby.

Magician Mat Ricardo was recording a performance of his magic trick where he pulls a table cloth from under crockery on a table when the other guests on the show decided to give it a try.
It’s been revealed today that TV presenter Holly Wibbly is set to step into the footsteps of Cilla Black to reprise her tearjerker show, Surprise Surprise.
Fans of the original – which ran from 1987 to 1997 – will recall that the show reunited families who, for some reason, hadn’t seen each other in decades, or had never met before.
Comedian Bob Carolgees and his puppet sidekick Spit the Dog also starred in the original, but it’s not yet known if he’ll be returning for the remake.

On yesterday’s This Morning, hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby modeled a succession of – in my opinion – rather excellent Christmas themed woolly pullies…
And on seeing a clip of them, duly bedecked in woollen homages to Christmas, I was envious, while everyone else in my house pointed and laughed.

ITV1’s award-winning and flagship daytime show This Morning is back for a new series from Monday 5th September. Hosts PHILLIP SCHOFIELD and HOLLY WILLOUGHBY return to host the live two hour programme Monday–Thursday, while husband and wife duo and current summer hosts EAMONN HOLMES and RUTH LANGSFORD will return to their Friday slot.
Holly’s return will be her first day back at work following the birth of second child – daughter Belle – in April.
Holly said, “I cannot wait to get back to the This Morning studio – I am ready and raring to go! It has been wonderful becoming a mum again and spending time with my family but I’m really looking forward to being back on the sofa with Phillip and seeing the team again.” Read more & comment »
While discussing the new series of Celebrity Juice with TV&Satellite Week magazine, host Keith Lemon says that he intends to ensure his co-host Holly Willoughby is drunk!
When asked if there are any changes to the show this year – which airs on ITV2 on Thursday 1 September at 10pm – Keith joked, “Yes, in this series Holly will be drunk…
“Last time she was up the duff all the way through filming, but Holly drunk is a different proposition altogether.
“Otherwise, it’s just more celebrities saying and doing things you never thought you’d see them say or do.”
Keith was then asked, “Is there a big drinking culture on the show?” to which he replied, “Everyone’s had a few drinks when they do Celebrity Juice.

Holly Willoughby made her first public appearance last weekend at Ant and Dec’s Royal Garden party. It’s the first time the This Morning presenter has been out and about since giving birth to baby Belle.
The Britain’s Got Talent presenters threw the bash in honour of Kate and William’s royal wedding and Holly looked stunning as she carried her new tot into their home.
She kept her new daughter well hidden, either because of the sunlight or perhaps she has a lucrative exclusive magazine deal lined up, but while we didn’t get a glimpse of the newborn, we did notice that Holly looked stunning in her summery maxi dress.
