In next week’s episodes of EastEnders, there’s an unwelcome surprise awaiting Kirsty Branning (Kierston Wareing) when her ex, Carl White (Daniel Coonan) turns up in Walford, but it quickly becomes evident that Kirsty isn’t the only reason he’s in the Square…
The drama begins on Thursday, June 20th when Bianca (Patsy Palmer) has to call in a plumber when her sink gets blocked. So when a stranger turns up on her doorstep later that day, she assumes he’s the workman and lets him into the house.
Sure enough, he fixes the sink, but no sooner has he finished than there’s another knock at the door; it’s the real plumber! So who is this man and what does he want? Read more & comment »

In recent weeks, we’ve seen Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) becoming determined to open a new restaurant on the Square, despite vehement opposition from his daughter Lucy (Hetti Bywater) who’s convinced that the stress of starting up a new business could push her father back to the brink of a nervous breakdown…
However, Ian has simply carried on quietly setting his new venture up, and has rented what used to be The Emporium’s premises and in next week’s episodes, he has builders lined up ready to start work turning the space into a trendy eatery… Read more & comment »

So when she finds out that Ian has persuaded Janine Moon (Charlie Brooks) to back him in his plan to convert the old Emporium into an up-market eatery, she makes it very clear that she has no doubt it’s going to fail. Read more & comment »

Ever since Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) returned to Walford in the midst of his nervous breakdown last year, he’s been a changed man…
His recovery from mental illness has seen him take on an altogether softer persona from the ruthless businessman he used to be, however, in this week’s episodes, we’re set to see that that aspect of Ian’s personality is to make a comeback.
The drama begins when Ian confides in Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) that despite the fact his daughter Lucy (Hetti Bywater) has vetoed the idea of him opening a restaurant, he wants to go ahead with the plan to rent the space used by the Emporium to open the new venture. But he’s not sure he’s doing the right thing… Read more & comment »

In next week’s episodes of EastEnders, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) will discover that she made a mistake while ordering food items for the Vic, and she ends up lumbered with a lot more flour than she wanted…
Seeing Jean in a flap about it, Shirley (Linda Henry) tries to calm Jean down by suggesting that to recoup the money, she should bake cakes and sell them.
She duly does so, and again with Shirley’s help, the cakes start selling like… well, hot cakes, prompting Shirley to tell Jean that this could turn out to be a lucrative sideline for her… Read more & comment »

Including Denise in the conversation as he ribs Ian, Denise tells Alfie that Ian’s “no oil painting” which – though she doesn’t realise it at first – hurts Ian’s feelings. Read more & comment »

Ian Beale and Denise Fox have been flirting to and fro for a while now, however, in next week’s episodes, we’ll see them spending the night together, albeit in somewhat unusual circumstances after they get locked in at the Minute Mart!
The comedic drama begins on Wednesday, March 6th when Denise (Diane Parish) goes to see Ian (Adam Woodyatt) to thank him for having a chat with housebound Patrick (Rudolph Walker).
However, when Ian tries to pay Denise a compliment, he fluffs it, leaving Denise somewhat insulted instead. So in an effort to make up for the gaffe, Ian later goes to the Minute Mart to buy chocolates for Denise, and all’s going well until Ian remarks that as neither of them are getting any younger, and unlikely to get any better offers, perhaps they should hook up… Read more & comment »

In forthcoming episodes of EastEnders, Denise Fox and Ian Beale are set to become more than just friends, and it’s a plot twist that’s taken actress Diane Parish, who of course plays Denise, completely by surprise!
Speaking to Inside Soap, Diane – who’s starred on the show since 2006 – said, “I didn’t see this coming at all!
“When the bosses first told me, I think there must have been some tumbleweed and a few crickets chirping – my reaction was like, ‘Eh?’
“But then I was overjoyed because Adam Woodyatt [who plays Ian] is one of the best actors in the show.
“He knows his character inside out, yet he’s always willing to try something new.” Read more & comment »

As fans of EastEnders will know, Ian Beale suffered a nervous breakdown following the end of his relationship with former stripper Mandy Salter (Nicola Stapleton) and after running up huge amounts of debt…
And in May of last year, on what should have been Ian and Mandy’s wedding day, after Mandy ditched him, we saw Ian wandering away from the Square wearing just his dressing gown and slippers.
He then went missing and only returned to Walford after Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) spotted him at a shelter for the homeless during the summer and he went to stay with the Branning family while they broke the news to his daughter Lucy (Hetti Bywater) that he was back.
But of course, Ian was almost unrecognizable with overgrown hair and a beard, and he was – at the time – almost catatonic. Read more & comment »

August 24th, 2012 by TV Writer Lynn. Tags: Adam Woodyatt, Eastenders, ian beale, Jessie Wallace, Kat Moon, who does kat moon have an affair with

Fans of EastEnders may be pleased to hear that in the episode which airs on September 14th, we’re finally going to discover the identity of the man who’s at the heart of the great Who’s Bonking Kat Moon? mystery, even though that storyline has somewhat petered out of late…
However, one of the remaining potential candidates, Max, Jack and Derek Branning and Michael Moon – Ray Dixon (Chucky Venn) was ruled out a couple of weeks ago – will be exposed as Kat’s lover.
As we’ve reported previously, Jack (Scott Maslen) is the viewers’ fave to turn out to be the phantom Kat diddler, and Derek (Jamie Foreman) is considered the most unlikely, so I guess that leaves just Michael (Steve John Shepherd) and Max (Jake Wood) in the running.
However, given that EastEnders’ writers threw up a curve ball on a previous whodunit – that is, having Darren Miller turn out to be baby George Trott’s dad – I’m not sure I’m ready to discount Derek entirely… Read more & comment »

Could Ian Beale be about to blow the whistle on the murder of Heather Trott in EastEnders?
Fans of the award-winning BBC soap will know how Ian (Adam Woodyatt) returned to the soap last week after spending the last few months on the streets after he discovered that his half-brother Ben (Joshua Pascoe) was the person responsible for the harpooning of Heather Trott earlier this year.
