Vampire Diaries star, Ian Somerhalder, took a new approach to crime fighting when it came to his Twitter account being hacked recently – he made friends with the stalker!

Whilst off filming for his new film, The Anomaly, on Friday, Somerhalder’s account was hacked, but luckily enough for him his Vampire Diaries producer, Julie Plec, was alerted to the situation from an avalanche of tweets from his fans, and managed to warn him, and all his followers!

Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder has revealed that, during a Russian talk show, he was set a challenge which included “mentally undressing” an audience member during the show, which is due to air later this week.

The Vampire Diaries hunk, Ian Somerhalder has stated that although he loves playing the character of Damon Salvatore, sometimes his storylines are a case of ‘like or lump it’.

Speaking at The Vampire Diaries BloodyNightCon Three in Barcelona, the star said that sometimes he dislikes what he reads in the scripts, but he just has to get on with it. He even went on to say that he isn’t a “gigantic big shot” so there’s no room to argue with bosses over some storylines.
