Steven R McQueen is to make a cameo appearance in The Vampire Diaries before the end of season four next month.

It has been announced today that ITV are to embark on a major rebranding across the entire company, including a new logo and a refresh on all its channels current identities, including the mother ship broadcaster, ITV1.
From now on ITV1 will go back to its original name of ITV as part of this new “unifying brand identity” which is expected to be introduced early next year across ITV Plc, the ITV Network and ITV Studios, the broadcaster’s production arm.

ITV2 has announced that it’s commissioned a new series that follows the search for real love and which highlights the realities of dating.
Three, which will be produced by Studio Lambert, is a new series in which three single women of different ages, life experiences and backgrounds meet for the first time with a common goal— to find true love.
As they search for a partner, they will share their lives and emotionally support one another during the dating and decision-making process…
The eight part series, which will be hosted by Emma Willis, will offer an exciting twist as our singletons face a host of make or break decisions. At the end of each episode, the three girls and their ‘dates’ will decide if they wish to continue seeing each other, but the feeling has to be mutual. Irish comedian Roy Walker shot to fame as the host of ITV game show Catchphrase when the show aired from 1986 to 2002, with his own catchphrases of “If you see it, say it,” and “say what you see” becoming nationally adopted ones.
As mentioned above, the show – which sees contestants having to guess a well known phrase from a computer animation – ended in 2002, however, it’s now been revealed that ITV2 are reviving the programme and have hired Britain’s Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern to front the new version.
An ITV insider told TV Biz, “Stephen is over the moon that he is going to front the revival of such an iconic show.
“He feels he has worked his apprenticeship at ITV2 and has been rewarded with a fantastic opportunity. He can’t wait to get started.

I make this look more glamorous than it actually is...
Ever since Ashleigh Butler introduced her remarkable dog Pudsey to the nation on Britain’s Got Talent, us Brits have gone barking mad for performing canines, and even the normally emotionless Simon Cowell has fallen for the charms of Ashleigh’s four legged BFF…
However, they say the showbiz industry is dog eat dog, but 12 Yard Productions are almost certainly hoping there’ll be no cannibalism among the contenders of a new show they’re putting together for ITV2 entitled, Top Dog Model.
So, assuming your dog isn’t A) a killer, and B) is precocious enough a pooch to be a model, then he/she could be the next big thing on the canine catwalk.

Former EastEnder Lacey Turner – who of course played the role of Stacey Slater - is to return to our screens in a new ITV2 comedy drama entitled, Switch.
She’ll play the role of Stella, who’s a young woman about town living in London with her flatmates, however, she and said flatmates are all witches, but they must keep their powers a secret from most, even while waging battles with rival coven, The Witches of Kensington.
Made by Touchpaper Television, the production company who also make Being Human for the BBC, Switch will also star Hannah Tointon, Nina Toussaint-White and Phoebe Fox.
The six-part drama was written by Chloe Moss and Tim Price, who can boast having worked on Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, Prisoners’ Wives and EastEnders.

The Dancing On Ice contestant will join her real life husband – Tim Healy- on the ITV comedy drama and play Scary Mary in the fourth series which airs this Spring.
Tim, who plays transvestite Leslie on the show told The Sun:
“Scary Mary – who is a black belt in martial arts – ends up drop-kicking Leslie into the pool.”
