Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has admitted that he and co-star Chace Crawford sometimes get sent “weird” fan mail.
Westwick, aka Chuck Bass told Metro: “I’ve been getting some weird mail, that’s for sure.”
“There have been a couple of nights where some of the girls who live there have obviously got a bit drunk and written love letters and slipped them under the door. We have one stuck up on the fridge.
Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has landed herself a record deal.
Billboard reports that 23-year-old Meester aka Blair Waldorf has signed a deal with Universal Republic through Time-Act Music.
The star’s music is described as ‘electro-pop edge’.
“I’m thrilled to be welcomed into the Universal Republic fold,” Leighton said in a statement. “Their reputation for nurturing artists combined with a willingness to break new ground makes it the ultimate environment for me to enjoy making music and explore my own creative boundaries.”
Thanksgiving in the Waldorf household finds Blair upset that her mom’s new boyfriend, Cyrus, has decided to ruin all her favourite traditions, but that’s nothing compared to what will happen next. Lily finds herself trying to broker a peace treaty between Rufus and Jenny, who is prepared to cut off all communication with her father if she doesn’t get her way. Serena isn’t quite ready to come clean with Aaron about her complicated past, but Dan ends up accidentally revealing a few titbits of his own. Blair and Chuck come to their friend’s aid when Nate is once again forced to confront his father’s abandonment. Finally, Eric discovers a secret that Bart has been keeping from Lily.
Serena invites Aaron to be her guest at a charity gala honouring Lily and Bart, but questions his character after discovering a secret he has been keeping from her. Hoping it will help her chances of getting into Yale, Blair naively agrees to babysit the 15-year-old daughter of a prominent donor. Meanwhile, Agnes helps Jenny plan her guerilla fashion show.
Jenny befriends a young model, Agnes (guest star Willa Holland – The OC), who encourages Jenny to explore her wild side, and to confront her boss, Eleanor Waldorf (recurring guest star Margaret Colin), who is attempting to “borrow” Jenny’s designs.
The gang visits Yale University, where Dan discovers that his recommendation letters to help his application were never sent, and tries to work out a way of getting accepted anyway. Chuck is kidnapped by members of the secret society his father was a member of, and Nate gets friendly with a college girl.
Justin Lee Collins aka JLC makes his debut on ITV2 this spring, hosting his very own chat show. The Justin Lee Collins Show will house interviews and challenges with big name celebrities, games with the studio audience and a bit of karaoke thrown in for good measure. For ten weeks Justin promises to inject an hour of pure, unadulterated fun into ITV2 living rooms. So tune in or prepare to miss out on the party.
Ok, I know it’s been a lot of years since radios had dials and in fact, many of you reading this will never actually have hunted around for a radio station using a dial and some teeny tiny movements in order to tune in without static, but – history lesson about radio tuning over – the fact is that this new ‘comedy’ simply isn’t funny, with one or two caveat exceptions in the form of one liners and Chris O’Dowd of The IT Crowd fame in the starring role.
