Coronation Street: Jack P Shepherd “Chuffed” With Pregnancy!

Coronation Street actor, Jack P Shepherd, has revealed that he is chuffed with the news that his girlfriend, Lauren Shippey is pregnant.

Coronation Street: Scenes Had To Be Reshot Due To Rude T Shirt

Coronation Street bosses were forced to reshoot some of this weeks scenes after Jack P Shepherd (aka David Platt) wore a rude t shirt on set.

A source said: “It was spotted by our compliance department, who look for anything that breaches guidelines.

Coronation Street: Jack P Shepherd Wants An Older Woman

Coronation Street actor, Jack P Shepherd, wants his character, David Platt to have more flings with older women on the show.

Jack told The Sun: “After what he’s been up to with Tracy and being infatuated with Maria Sutherland in the past, I don’t think David will ever go out with someone of his own age.

“He thinks he is more mature and he prefers the older woman. I think actresses in their 20s who are coming into the Street should be on their guard!”

Jack is nominated for two gongs at the British Soap Awards – best actor and best villain – and he’s delighted.

He added: “I’m glad to be nominated and hopefully I might win something but it could be tough – Kate Ford (Tracy) is my main rival in the villain category and I’m up against Bill Ward (Charlie Stubbs) for best actor.

“I wouldn’t begrudge Kate and Bill winning as long as someone from Corrie gets the awards.

“I’ve won awards for most spectacular scene and best young actor before but it would be nice to put some more trophies on my mum’s mantelpiece.”
