Whilst still coming to terms with their one night stand, Coronation Street’s Nick Tilsley and his sister-in-law, Kylie Platt, are set for even more drama when it is revealed that their brief encounter has resulted in Kylie getting pregnant!

As fans of Coronation Street will surely know, there’s a lot of drama headed our way over Christmas, what with David and Kylie Platt’s marriage falling apart, Nick Tilsley and Leanne Barlow supposedly just starting their married life, and Tyrone Dobbs and Fiz Stape risking life and limb by embarking on affair!

And in an interview for the show’s official website, cast members Jane Danson, Jack P Shepherd, Alan Halsall and Natalie Gumede have hinted at what we can expect of their Christmas Day plotlines.

Starting with Jane, who of course plays Leanne, she said, “The question is, will she get married and who will she marry?”

The Platt family are set for an unhappy Christmas in Coronation Street, as the Sun newspaper reports that Kylie will cheat on David on Boxing Day with a one night stand.

Fans of the award-winning ITV soap will know how David (Jack P Shepherd) and his feisty wife, Kylie (Paula Lane) are currently experiencing a rough patch in their marriage after the revelation that Kylie was still taking the pill, despite telling David they could start trying for a family.

Fans of Corrie will know in last night’s trip to Weatherfield, we saw Kylie Platt confessing to hubby David that although she agreed that they should try for a baby, she has in fact not stopped taking her contraceptive pill.

A furious David was not appeased as Kylie tried to explain that she’s happy in her work, and having been promoted recently, she’s not ready to give it all up in order to become a mum again.

However, David didn’t take the news well, and stormed off to cry on his former lover Tina McIntyre’s shoulder…

And having had a few too many, David (Jack P Shepherd) passed out on Tina’s (Michelle Keegan) couch, but in Monday’s episode, when both Tommy (Chris Fountain) and Kylie find out that their respective partners were under the same roof all night, they’ll put two and two together and come up with the wrong conclusion that they must’ve slept together. A few weeks ago, when it was reported that Emmerdale’s current series producer Stuart Blackburn was to take over from Corrie producer Phil Collinson early next year, it was claimed that up to ten Coronation Street characters could be axed in a shake-up of the soap.

At the time, ITV denied that would be the case, however an spokesperson added the caveat that they couldn’t comment on what Blackburn would or wouldn’t do in the role.

However today, it’s been reported that Corrie star Jack P Shepherd, who of course plays David Platt, reckons that he and his fellow cast members are “terrified” at the prospect of being written out.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Jack said, “We’re terrified. It’s always the same, with people asking, ‘Have you heard? New boss, what’s he like?’

In upcoming episodes of Corrie, we’re set to see Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) suffer a heart attack that she believes was induced by the war she has going on with her grandson David Platt over ownership of the salon…

Audrey of course signed the business over to David (Jack P Shepherd) last year, but now wants it back so that she can get some cash out of it to fund a round the world cruise for herself and Lewis (Nigel Havers) but David’s been having none of it.

However, after David realises his gran could have died, he relents and tells Audrey he will sign the business back to her.

Antony Cotton, Ryan Thomas and Jack P Shepherd – who of course play the characters of Sean Tully, Jason Grimshaw and David Platt on Corrie – have engaged in a war of words on Twitter over the weekend.

The Daily Mirror reports that the virtual fight broke out when Ryan and Jack “had a dig” at Antony for name-dropping.

In response, Antony called Jack a “little irritant” who “needs the money more than me”.

Jack then replied, “That’s not banter, it’s an insult.”

Jack P. Shepherd has got engaged, to his baby mama……no not that one!

The Coronation Street star – best known as Weatherfield’s David Platt – found himself in quite the quandary last year when despite being in a long term relationship and sharing a child with his girlfriend Lauren Shippey, he managed to knock up Sammy Milewski, who has since gave birth to his baby son.

Keen to put the whole incident behind him (which seems a bit callous given the fact that he refuses to acknowledge his second child) that star has proposed to Lauren with a £3,000 ring and the pair are now planning their wedding for next year.

Following last week’s Coronation Street, it has been made very clear to all that Gail McIntyre (Helen Worth) is not very happy with her son, David’s (Jack P Shepherd) choice in wife, especially after she spent the olive branch that was the money Gail gave her for the wedding dress on a slap up meal.

Despite a DNA test recently proving that he has a new son, Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has reportedly refused to acknowledge the child.

Sammy Milewski had a one night stand with the actor last year and gave birth to baby Greyson two months ago, however he has yet to meet or contribute to the child’s welfare and the new mum told The People:

“I honestly thought that once Jack had proof that Greyson was his son he would do the decent thing. I really hoped he would accept responsibility. But obviously not. We got the results more than a week ago and he still hasn’t been in touch. You’d think he would phone or even send a text.

Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt in Coronation Street, has received DNA results confirming his paternity to a baby boy, The People have reported.

Jack, who has a 2 year old daughter, Nyla, from his long term childhood sweetheart, Lauren Shippey, met the boy’s mother, Sammy Milewski, a promotions girl, last year in a club.

It’s what every woman doesn’t want to hear….a boy saying it was difficult to snog them! Paula Lane couldn’t have been chuffed when she found out what Jack P Shepherd said about their kissing scenes on Coronation Street.

The actor, who plays David Platt in the soap, admitted that getting up close and personal with the actress – who plays troublesome Kylie – wasn’t easy.

He told Holy Soap: “We’re filming lots of kissing scenes with me and Kylie, lots of them, and it was difficult – we had a three-and-a-half minute scene the other day, which was quite long and quite wordy and we had to be in the foreground snogging all the way through it.

Coronation Street actor Jack P. Shepherd – who recently publicly apologised for having a one night stand with a Leeds woman – has apparently been “forgiven” by his girlfriend Lauren Shippey.

Over the weekend, Jack and Lauren were photographed as they happily took daughter Nyla on a day out.

An onlooker told the Sunday Mirror, “Lauren looked really comfortable with Jack again – they looked like a happy family out in the sunshine.”

The news comes after reports that Lauren had “thrown” Jack out of their home after the woman alleged she was pregnant by Jack. Read more & comment »
