The film, which is said to be a comedy and entitled ‘One Chance’ will chronicle Paul’s meteoric rise to fame from being a mobile phone salesman to international star following his BGT victory.
However, according to the Daily Star, Paul is “sworn to secrecy” over the identity of the actor who’ll play him in the film.

He is of course referring to the co-writers and stars of the show, Ruth Jones who played Nessa, and James Corden who played Smithy, both of whom look completely different now they’ve slimmed down.
Ruth has gone from being a hefty 17 stones to just over 9, while James has dropped from 21 stones to 16.

When Gavin and Stacey first aired, I somehow managed to miss every episode, but of late, I’ve been watching it from start to finish on Gold, and have fallen in love with it…
So I was horrified when I realized that there were only ever three series of the show, the finale of which featured a heavily pregnant Stacey (Joanna Page) and Ness on the verge of falling for Smithy.
Ness and Smithy were of course played by Ruth Jones and James Corden, who also wrote the show.
So it was a case of joy to the world when I read this morning that Ruth has promised to pen a Christmas special of the show in time for next year’s festive season.
I would be, quite literally, cock-a-hoop, if I only had a hoop and a…. yeah, well, never mind.
Anyway, while speaking to the Daily Star about the possibility of more Gavin and Stacey, Ruth revealed that she and James had originally planned to write a festive special for this year, but due to their various work commitments, they ran out of time.
She said, “We will definitely be doing another Gavin and Stacey. There was just too much occurring!
“We want to do a Christmas special but it keeps getting moved back… Read more & comment »

Comedian James Corden has let a rather embarrassing cat out of the bag after revealing that he was not only a Take That “super-fan”, he was also in a boy band himself.
James – who of course co-wrote and starred in Gavin and Stacey – was in a band called ‘Insatiable’, and of it, he told the Daily Star, “I did form a boy band called Insatiable when I was young. I was so into it.”
He added, ““If I was not doing acting I would 100% be with the kids trying for The X Factor or Britain’s Got Talent.
“I tried to use my band to pull the ladies but I soon realised if you’re going to be in a boyband you don’t want to be the least attractive one.
“The first boyband I formed was Full Frontal and then we did Insatiable.”
