Our records show you haven't paid your TV licence, sir...
If this were an episode of Friends, it would be called “The One With The Cybermen And James Corden“. Yes, tonight’s episode of Doctor Who saw The Doctor reunited with his old buddy Craig, who he lodged with briefly 200 years earlier. In his own timeline.
Yeah, not stopping to say goodbye to longer-established companions like Martha Jones or Mickey or Captain Jack, The good Doctor pops in on Craig and his new baby, Stormageddon *cough* Alfie. And, as luck would have it, the local council have woken up a couple of slumbering Cybermen who’ve decided to do a few “upgrades” to pass the time.

Comedian and actor James Corden has revealed that the “main reason” he accepted a returning guest role on Doctor Who was because of Matt Smith, who of course plays the current Time Lord.
As fans of Doctor Who will know, James first appeared on the show last year as Craig Owen in an episode entitled, ‘The Lodger’. It’s this role that he reprises in the episode that airs tonight on BBC1 at 7.20pm.

James made the humorous revelation in his new autobiography which is entitled, May I Have Your Attention Please. Extracts from the book are being serialized in The Sun.
Of his rather close brush with Beckham, James wrote, “In the bath, we were both sitting there, having a chat about anything and everything.
“And all the time I was thinking about the times I’d watched England play, how Becks made me jump out of my seat: The free kick against Greece that took us to the Euros, the penalty against Argentina in the World Cup… Read more & comment »

Comedian James Corden has revealed that the “biggest regret” of his life was making sketch show Horne & Corden.
33 year old James made the revelation in his new autobiography May I Have Your Attention Please? which is currently being serialized in The Sun.
Of the show, which of course co-starred Matthew Horne, James said, “I wish we had taken more time over our sketch show. I wish we hadn’t rushed it so much.
“I wish we’d just put the brakes on and said, ‘We need a year and a half before we can even contemplate shooting this’, rather than four or five months.
“I don’t think Mat and I ever thought ‘let’s form a double act’, but I believe we could have made a better TV show than that… Read more & comment »

The new TV license fee collectors were pretty scary...
Welcome, Whovians, to the penultimate (that’s fancy talk for second last) episode of this year’s Doctor Who. Closing Time sees The Doctor reunited with Craig (James Corden) from last year’s The Lodger episode. And, as you can see from the photo above, they’re about to encounter the Cybermen.
Which will be interesting, because the Cybermen haven’t had a major storyline in quite some time. (Although, if the crew at CultBox are to be believed, this episode won’t change that!)
