James Sutton has left Hollyoaks and is on his way to ITV’s Emmerdale and he has been speaking about his new role.

Sutton will soon make his debut as unemployed mechanic Ryan Lamb, Faye Lamb’s son, in Emmerdale.

James told MSN: “He’s a bit of a lad’s lad, he’s quite blokey, he likes a pint and he’s a mechanic, an out of work mechanic – he’s lost his job so he moves up to sponge off his mum for a bit.”

Hollyoaks actor James Sutton, better known as John Paul, has admitted to The Daily Star that he finds Gay snogs on the show very challenging.

He stated:

“I think I was a bit naive. I knew he was gay but for some reason I didn’t really think about what it would be like when he gets a boyfriend,” James says.

“It is really challenging as a straight guy to snog blokes all day – but that is what I have to do.

“I go home and snog my girlfriend every day, too – but my mates still rip it out of me all the time!”

Couldn’t be easy for a heterosexual teenager, but I think he carries it off well.
