With takeaway-mad Britain facing a heath crisis, and inspired by the wartime Ministry of Food, Jamie Oliver is trying to get a whole town cooking fresh food. Jamie’s in the Yorkshire town of Rotherham, home to Julie Critchlow, the fiercest critic of his school dinners campaign, to see if he can create a blueprint to revolutionise how the country eats.

Jamie’s in Rotherham, where mums defied his school dinners campaign, to see if he can inspire a revolution. But they’re struggling and Jamie’s experiment is in trouble, so he takes his campaign to a Rotherham United match to persuade fans to join his cooking revolution. “Was it worth having to blag one of my Bank Holiday weekends off my wife to get called a fat bastard in front of 7,000 people?” asks Jamie. “That’s debatable, but it’s all for the cause.” Read more & comment »
