About what lies ahead for them in the next couple of months, panellists Jane McDonald, Sherrie Hewson and Carol McGiffin have been talking to TV Times magazine about their plans for a “summer of fun”

Jane began by saying, “I’ve traveled extensively, so summer fun for me is actually being at home in the privacy of my own backyard, I love it.

“I’ve got a beautiful garden, a wonderful partner and a very good selection of wine, so I just sit outside and enjoy the balmy nights.

Singer Jane McDonald is returning to the panel of ITV’s Loose Women after viewers inundated the show’s bosses, and Jane herself, with requests to reinstate her.

Jane left the show eighteen months ago to concentrate on reviving her music career, but yesterday, she called former Corrie star Sherrie Hewson to break the news that she’s coming back.

She said, “Ever since I left the show, I’ve been inundated with people asking me when I’d go back. I’ve been so humbled by the public’s response.

“Even at my last concert, the audience were shouting, ‘We want you back on Loose Women!’” Read more & comment »

Singer Jane McDonald has announced that she’s leaving the Loose Women panel in order to concentrate on her singing career.

But Jane, who’s been part of the show for six years, hasn’t ruled out a return in the future.

However for the next few months, she intends to work on her forthcoming album as well as embark on a UK and Australia tour.
