I HATE The Jeremy Kyle show and I can’t imagine why anyone watches this drivel. The ‘guests’ are all – pretty much without exception – chavs of the worst kind. The Burberry wearing, benefit claiming, white trainers with sports pants tucked into their socks type people, and most have a shoe size that is larger than their IQ.

They are of the ilk who have about a dozen children – for the women, their kids are all with different fathers and for the men, they’ve fathered zillions of kids with different women – and who only work if the benefits office forces them to. They tend to be either obese or heroin-addict thin and live their lives as though they are on the set of Eastenders.

A husband has faced a court this week, after aiming an air rifle at his wife who had revealed on Jeremy Kyle’s TV show that she was expecting a love child.

Craig Platt, 27, from Kinmel Bay, North Wales, got an indeterminate sentence at Mold Crown Court on firearm charges.

Kyle’s ITV chat show was accused of plying it’s guests with drink and riling them into starting trouble last year, and in the same year the show lost it’s main sponsor after District Judge Alan Berg branded the ITV1 show “a form of human bear-baiting.”

The producers behind ITV’s Jeremy Kyle show have rejected claims that an alcholic guest was plied with lager prior to appearing on the show.

Peter Davies, 37, alleged that studio staff kept bringing him beer and said they were “stirring me up for a fight”.

A spokesman for the show has insisted that Mr Davies “was not encouraged to drink” and was not provoked prior to walking onto the stage.

Ex-gang member Vincente Tucker is 41 stone and just 27 years old, but his obesity has already caused him to have two heart attacks. This is his second visit to the clinic. On his first stay he was thrown out after being discovered ‘entertaining’ three women in his room. After leaving he piled on another 220lbs and now the clinic have given him a second chance, but despite his failing health Vincente refuses to exercise and continues to order junk food delivered to his room. If he doesn’t change his ways he is unlikely to live to reach his thirtieth birthday.

Rescue Me

Every year 300,000 (1 in every 100) Americans die from obesity related diseases. On the outskirts of New York City the Brookhaven Clinic has an on going battle tackling 75 severely over-weight patients heading for the grave in a bid to turn their lives around.
Jeremy Kyle meets up with some of the patients to try and find out why these people have become morbidly obese, and the difficulties faced in motivating them to lose the weight that could end up killing them.
