The iconic legend that is Stephanie Beacham has joined the cast of hit Sky 1 HD hit supermarket comedy, Trollied, and has promised fans “aisle make you laugh”.

Beacham, who came 5th in the 2010 Celebrity Big Brother, will play the strict new manager for the megastore Valco, working alongside Absolutely Fabulous‘ Jane Horrocks.

It’s been reported in today’s Sun newspaper that Benidorm has been commissioned for a fifth series, and that legendary actress Joan Collins wants a role in the hit ITV sitcom.

77 year old Joan is apparently a huge fan of the show ever since her sister Jackie encouraged her to watch it.

And Jackie – who is of course the author of a number of novels – tweeted a message to the show’s creator Derren Litten to say how much she and Joan love the show.

Joan Collins has hinted she will be starring in ‘Dynasty’ when it returns.

The 77-year-old actress – who played the scheming Alexis Carrington in the hit 80s TV series – claims she will be returning to the story about a wealthy oil family in Denver, but is remaining tight-lipped on what her involvement will be.

When asked whether ‘Dynasty’ was coming back during an appearance with her sister Jackie on CNN’s ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’, she said: “That’s what I hear (it’s coming back). It could be. But I’m not allowed (to say) – I’m not allowed, I’m not allowed. My lips are sealed. My lips are sealed with a ‘Dynasty’ doll.”
