There’s a case of some good news and some bad news for fans of EastEnders today in that it’s been revealed that the show’s bosses plan on reuniting Walford faves Kat and Alfie Moon, however, it’s also been announced that Charlie Brooks is leaving the show for good this time.

Starting with the news about Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie (Shane Richie) getting back together in upcoming storylines, the show’s executive producer Lorraine Newman “let slip” the spoiler while at the TV BAFTAs, where ‘Enders scooped the award for Best Soap.

In next week’s episodes of EastEnders, Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) is to be left terrified after a hold-up at The Vic during which the mum-of-one will be petrified as she’s threatened by the burglar…

However, she’s to find an unlikely saviour in the form of Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) who manages to scare the would-be robber off!

Next week, Bianca Butcher (Patsy Palmer) is still struggling to come to terms with the fact that Liam’s left the Square, however, her mate Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) suggests that to keep her mind off it, she should work on her selling skills…

And Bianca does just that, however, in the episode that airs on Tuesday, April 30, Bianca and Kat are annoyed when market boss Mr Lister (Nick Wilton) has a go at them for the mess that’s all around their stall.

However, when he then makes cutting remarks about Bianca’s parenting skills, Kat and B come up with a plan to teach him a lesson. But unluckily for them, he’s soon onto their prank, and determined not to let them get away with it, he bars them from having a pitch on the market for three weeks! Read more & comment »

As we saw recently on EastEnders, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) finally grew a set and refused to help his estranged wife Kat (Jessie Wallace) out with money to help her get a place of her own…

Angry that she was yet again asking him for cash while simultaneously fighting him over his desire to get a solicitor involved to secure his parental rights over baby Tommy, Alfie spat that Kat should go to Tommy’s dad, Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd) for money for once.

So in the episode that airs on April 1, Kat will do just that, however, cold Michael will tell Kat that he has no intention of providing for Tommy, and that as far as he’s concerned, Alfie is Tommy’s dad… Read more & comment »

In next week’s episodes of EastEnders, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) is still resisting Alfie’s attempts to have his rights to contact with little Tommy made formal through solicitors…

And though things between Kat and Alfie (Shane Richie) are initially cordial, as we’ll see in Monday’s visit to Walford, he’s concerned for the little boy’s wellbeing when on several occasions, he sees Kat’s place is a tip.

So with that in mind, Alfie forges ahead with his planned meeting with his solicitor, and though Jean’s worried about it all, Alfie assures her that Kat knows he’s going, and is fine with it.

In next week’s episodes of EastEnders, when Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) gets a letter from Alfie’s solicitor about their divorce, she goes to find him to tell him that she’d prefer it if they worked things out between them, without involving lawyers…

However, while she’s at the Vic, Kat has yet another run-in with Alfie’s lover Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) and realizing that with ‘Peroxide’ in the picture, things are unlikely to be plain sailing, Kat decides she should think about getting a solicitor herself.

In next week’s episodes of EastEnders, poor Bianca Butcher (Patsy Palmer) will be horrified when she learns that not only has her son Liam (James Forde) been bunking off school, but also that the dresses she and Kat are selling on their stall were nicked!

Her bad week begins when the police arrive on her doorstep having caught Liam truanting, and enquiries at his school reveal that it’s far from the first time…

There’s a good deal of romantic drama on the cards in forthcoming episodes of EastEnders when Phil Mitchell and Sharon Rickman revisit their former mutual passion, while Kat Moon loses it and attacks her love rival, Roxy Mitchell!

Starting with Phil (Steve McFadden) and Sharon (Letitia Dean) becoming close again, and as you can see in the image above, they’ll share a kiss after Sharon joins forces with Phil to track down Lola Pearce…

In forthcoming episodes of EastEnders – and as we reported yesterday – Kat Moon will be devastated when Alfie replaces the plaque above the door of the Queen Vic in takes her name off the licensee statement and adds Roxy’s instead…

And realizing how much it’s hurt Kat (Jessie Wallace) soft-hearted Alfie will be eager to make it up to her, because of course, even though Kat’s hurt him terribly, he still loves her.

2013 hasn’t got off to a very auspicious start for many Walford residents, what with the death of Derek Branning and the unexpected arrival of Max’s wife Kirsty!

And of course, Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon split up over Christmas, and Alfie (Shane Richie) has now embarked on a rather hasty romance with Roxy ‘Peroxide’ Mitchell (Rita Simons).

Newly single and desperately alone, Kat Moon is going to find a new best friend this New Year in EastEnders, in the unlikely form of Bianca Butcher, the Daily Star reports!
