Former Dawsons Creek actress Katie Holmes, has been asked to appear in the next Sex And The City film.
The Sun reports that studio bosses are hoping that Holmes will agree to play a feisty New York businesswoman.
A source told me: “The character they want her to play is a really ballsy, high-powered company executive who tangles with Samantha.”

Katie, who became famous as Joey Potter on teen drama Dawson’s Creek, was a huge hit with the cast of the legal drama when she filmed her scenes recently.
Natasha Henstridge, who plays the title character’s ex-fiancee Taylor Wethersby, told People.com: “She was super gracious and lovely. And statuesque and gorgeous.”
Former Dawson’s Creek star, Joshua Jackson has made contact with his ex co star Katie Holmes as she rehearsed for her Broadway debut.
Joshua paid Katie a surprise visit on the set of Broadway play, ‘All My Son’s’ and presented her with a bunch of flowers.
‘Katie has been looking skinny and depressed and, like any concerned friend, rather than do nothing Joshua wanted to check everything was OK,’ said a source to Grazia magazine.
‘They haven’t spoken in a while and, naturally, he was worried.
‘So he just decided to drop by. It was really sweet, he just turned up unexpectedly with a bunch of flowers and said: ‘Hello stranger.’ Katie was shocked, but so happy to see him. It was a wonderful surprise. She gave him such a big hug.’ Read more & comment »
