Kerry Katona has hit out at This Morning presenter, Phillip Schofield branding him as “ignorant and arrogant” and accusing him of discriminating against her.
Kerry slurred her way through an interview with Phillip and Fern on This Morning this week, prompting people to claim that she was either drunk or on drugs. But Katona blames the slurring on her Bipolar medication and claims that Schofield did not take her condition into account during her appearance.
“He was out of order. Saying I was drunk is ignorant and arrogant,” Katona told The People. “Why didn’t Schofield ask me about my condition on air and help explain my slurring was due to my illness and medication? I think this is all very wrong. I would take action against him – but I want to see what happens first.”
Although Iceland have put out a statement saying they will stand by Kerry, The Sun has reported that after a mountain of complaints from their customers they are considering pulling her £250,000 advertising deal.
So what do you think? Is Kerry the right ‘face of Iceland’, do you think she represents British mums well? Drop us a comment below!

Max Clifford, the publicist of Kerry Katona, who’s recent This Morning controversy is set to run and run, has hit out at her husband Mark Croft saying he shouldn’t blame interviewers Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton for the debacle.
Talking to The Mirror Clifford said: “I totally disagree (with the statement). They were late going for the interview, had they got there earlier they would have had the chance to speak to people so the interview wouldn’t have happened.

Kerry Katona seems to be slipping back to her old ways, just watch the video above and see. The clip is taken from Kerry’s interview on This Morning in which Kerry slurs her speech and seems disorientated throughout.
Kerry’s behaviour was so bad that viewers began phoning in during her time on the show, concerned about her behaviour and angry that her husband Mark was in the studio and still let her go ahead with the appearance.
Kerry’s publicist, Max Clifford has spoken of his concern for her welfare saying:
“There’s no way she should have been allowed to do that show,” he says. “Had I been with her, she wouldn’t have done. I must admit after today and in view of what’s gone on over the last couple of months, I am increasingly concerned for her health and happiness.”
