Fans of Emmerdale will know that Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) has been stringing everyone along for weeks, having lied and told her ex-boyfriend Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) that she was pregnant with his baby…

She of course made up the lie after he dumped her when she set his house on fire – leaving his baby son Jack trapped upstairs – after falling into a drunken sleep, leaving a lit cigarette to fall onto soft furnishings and ignite.

As we reported earlier, Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) is set to become the victim of a hit and run incident after drunken friends Adam Barton and Robbie Lawson leave her for dead at the side of the road after ploughing into her on a country lane…

However, as soon as Kerry is rushed to hospital, her next of kin, daughter Amy (Chelsea Halfpenny) is informed, and she and Kerry’s anxious ex Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) race to the hospital.

However, as we’ll see in next week’s dramatic episodes of Emmerdale, when Cain (Jeff Hordley) learns that Adam has been involved in a hit and run incident, he’ll put his own liberty at risk to help his girlfriend’s son.

But for Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) a few drinks turns into way too many drinks, and not only does she embarrass her boyfriend Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) by giving Adam a lapdance, she also conveniently forgets that she’s supposed to be taking over from Amy (Chelsea Halfpenny) in babysitting Andy’s kids Sarah and Jack so that she can attend the party too.

Fans of the hit soap will know how Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) and Kerry had a brief fling back in September before Debbie (Charley Webb) split them up by saying she didn’t want Kerry near their sick daughter, Sarah, after a misunderstanding over Kerry’s medication.

As fans of Emmerdale may know, farmer Andy Sugden is about to have a one night stand with Kerry (Laura Norton) who is of course Amy Wyatt’s wayward mother…

In scenes that will air on Wednesday, September 5th, we’ll see Andy taking pity of Kerry after Amy (Chelsea Halfpenny) throws her out of the house following a row.

As Andy and Kerry compare notes on their disastrous love lives, the wine flows and things take a turn for the steamy which results in the couple spending the night together.

However, in an interview with All About Soap magazine, Kelvin Fletcher, who of course plays Andy – a role he first took up in 1996 – has revealed that the night won’t herald a romance between the pair.
