Producers of the hit US musical teen drama, Glee, have cast Sons of Anarchy star Katey Sagal to play Artie’s Abram’s mum!
Singer-songwriter Sagal made her mark on the world of television playing Peggy Bundy in the hugely popular Fox comedy series, Married… With Children, a role which she played from 1987 to 1997 and for which she was nominated for four Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Television Series and two American Comedy Awards during the show’s run.

Glee bosses are set to delight fans of the show with the Christmas special next month by featuring a number of former stars in the episode which will pay homage to festive film favourite Love Actually.
A number of plotlines from the movie are to be recreated during the hour long show and, while it is unclear which film storylines will be reprised, it is known which Glee plots will conclude by the end of the programme. Read more & comment »

It’s prom night for the New Directions, and the last one at that, and with a theme of dinosaurs created by class president, Brittany, it would seem that the seniors last ever McKinley High prom will certainly be one to remember, especially with rumoured song to be featured including: Take My Breath Away by Berlin, Big Girls Dont Cry by Stacy Ferguson, Love You Like a Love Song by Selena Gomez, and Ke$ha’s Dinosaur!

When Glee star Kevin McHale jetted into the UK to star in Glee Live, he was horrified to realize his wheelchair had got lost somewhere between the plane and baggage claim.
23 year old Kevin, who of course plays Artie on the show, needed the chair for the sell-out Glee live shows at London’s O2, however, it turned out that his chair had been “borrowed” by an elderly lady passenger.
A source told The Sun, “It was tracked down and returned to Kevin.”

Kevin McHale has claimed that his Glee character needs to work on being less nasty to women.
The 23 year old actor is best known for his role as Artie Abrams in the Fox hit TV series and has confessed that he would never speak to girls the way his alter ego does.

Kevin McHale has revealed that he thinks Glee writers got it right when they paired Artie and Brittany together.
The actor told EOnline! that the strange duo work well together and bring out the best in each other. He said:
“They work. I think in high school it can be very superficial and about the looks, but Brittany sees through that. And you wouldn’t think she would, but I think she genuinely does.”

Kevin McHale has admitted that he is excited about the new romantic storylines in Glee season two.
In season one, McHale’s character Artie got together with Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), but creator Ryan Murphy recently revealed that she will soon dump up with him for Mike (Harry Shum Jr) when the show returns.

Glee actor Kevin McHale is hoping that the show encourages people to join school choirs.
McHale plays wheelchair-bound Artie in the comedy, told Gay Times that it “would be cool” if choirs become more popular in high school.
