Fans of Coronation Street will of course know that when Sophie Webster made a move on her physiotherapist Jenna Kamara, and the pair kissed, Jenna actively reciprocated the smooch…
However, when Sophie’s dad Kevin (Michael Le Vell) walked in on the pair and saw them kissing, he immediately went on the offensive and told Jenna he was going to report her to her superiors at the hospital for her inappropriate conduct with his daughter.
Sophie (Brooke Vincent) was of course mortified with her dad’s behavior, and angrily retorted that he was only making the threat because Jenna rebuffed his clumsy advances some weeks before…
But nonetheless, Kevin did indeed report Jenna, and she now faces a disciplinary hearing over the incident. Read more & comment »
It’s been reported today that Coronation Street newcomer Krissi Bohn – who plays the role of physiotherapist Jenna Kamara and who is pictured above left – was moved to tears and felt physically sick when she was targeted by paedophiles on Twitter who posted revolting images of their victims to the actress.
After one particularly shocking message from an internet troll, shocked Krissi tweeted, “I have seen things I did not want or expect to see on Twitter tonight.
“Sick people! Poor girls and families and victims everywhere. #vile.
“Essentially there are paedophiles opening Twitter accounts and posting pics I need say no more. Vile.
“I am going to sleep now. I feel horrible. It’s so sick.” Read more & comment »
We reported a few weeks ago how while Coronation Street’s Rosie Webster recovered from her recent road accident, that both she and her dad, Kevin, would fall for the charms of her physiotherapist, Lloyd Mullaney’s daughter, Jenna – and it would seem that she has chosen whose affection to return – Sophie’s!
Sophie (Brooke Vincent) has been single ever since her wife-to-be, Sian, ran out and left her on their wedding day, and it seemed that there was no sign of love on the horizon for the unlucky teenager, especially after trying to help her friend she ended up almost paralysed when a car hit her.

As fans of Corrie will know, poor Sophie Webster is facing months of recovery after she was knocked down by a car earlier this week, having shoved reckless Ryan Connor (Sol Heras) out of the path of the oncoming car.
Having been told that she may never walk again, Sophie (Brooke Vincent) will have to undergo long-term physiotherapy to mobilize her again, and it’ll transpire that her physiotherapist is Lloyd Mullaney’s newly found daughter, Jenna Kamara (Krissi Bohn).
And according to the Daily Star, not only will Sophie fall for Jenna – and Jenna for her – but so will her dad Kevin (Michael Le Vell) who will of course accompany Sophie to her physio sessions.
Of Jenna, a show insider told the paper, “She’s breaking a serious moral code by getting involved with Sophie. Sophie is in a very vulnerable position following the car accident… Read more & comment »
Coronation Street resident Lloyd Mullaney has never had much luck with women, however, he has an old flame called Mandy who he’s always retained a little spark for…
So when he bumps into her by chance, it seems to Lloyd (Craig Charles) that fate engineered the encounter for a reason, and he’s keen to have a catch up with Mandy – who’s to be played by Pamela Nomvete – but she, it seems, is not so keen.
However, Lloyd’s nothing if not persistent, so having learned where Mandy lives, he pops round unexpectedly, and is curious as to why Mandy is so reluctant to ask him in!
But when Mandy’s teenaged daughter Jenna (Krissi Bohn) wonders who’s at the door, her mum introduces Lloyd and he’s immediately curious as to why Mandy didn’t mention she had a daughter when he met with her previously… Read more & comment »
As we reported a while ago, Corrie cabbie Lloyd Mullaney (Craig Charles) is about to find out he’s a dad after a chance encounter with an old girlfriend brings about the shocking revelation.
At the time of the initial report, Corrie bosses were in the process of casting actresses in the role of the mum and daughter who are about to walk into Lloyd’s life, and in the end, they cast Pamela Nomvete as mum Mandy, and Krissi Bohn as her daughter, Jenna.
The show’s official website says of the newcomers, “As they settle into a more permanent life in Weatherfield Mandy, played by Pamela Nomvete will find a home cooking at The Rovers and Jenna, played by Krissi Bohn, working at the local hospital. But another secret looks set to rock this fragile new family and change their lives forever…” Read more & comment »
