It’s been revealed this week that Celebrity Juice host Keith Lemon – whose real name is Leigh Francis – has finally achieved his ambition of a role on ITV soap, Coronation Street.
And yesterday, he tweeted a picture of himself alongside Corrie actress Michelle Keegan, who plays barmaid Tina McIntyre, as they stood behind the bar of the newly refurbished Rovers.

It’s been revealed today that classic panel game Through the Keyhole is to make a comeback to ITV later this year, and will feature comedian Keith Lemon – whose real name is Leigh Francis – taking a tour of houses owned by celebrities and offering up clues to the identity of the famous homeowner.
The show first became a hit when it aired on ITV in 1987 – it ended its run in 1995 but returned to telly on Sky for two special editions – with Sir David Frost hosting and chef Lloyd Grossman overseeing the tours of the houses.
At the start of each show, Frost introduced the panel of three celebrities, with the catchphrase “And what a panel they are….” before listing each celeb’s major achievements… Read more & comment »

Leigh Francis, who’s arguably better known as comedy figure Keith Lemon, has revealed that he can’t get work in America because of his broad Northern accent.
Leigh explained to the Daily Star that he’s had numerous meetings with US TV executives, but each time, they struggled to understand what he was saying.
The Celebrity Juice star said, “I had a few meetings there last year.
“No-one could understand what I was saying, they didn’t get me at all.
“I think it would work in Australia because all Australians seem to have the same sense of humour as the English people, and they have the same kind of celebrities there.
“I’m doing a film where I go to New York, so maybe that might be the transition period where I hit America.”
