Leighton Meester has admitted that she is hoping Chuck and Blair’s on screen drama continues throughout season three.
Meester, who plays Blair Waldorf in The CW drama, told E! Online:
“I’m actually really rooting for them. I think they’re a really interesting couple and they’re not typical at all. Everything they do is a little bit naughty!”

Billboard reports that 23-year-old Meester aka Blair Waldorf has signed a deal with Universal Republic through Time-Act Music.
The star’s music is described as ‘electro-pop edge’.

Meester who plays Blair Waldorf in the ITV2 show has revealed that she has always been into music, so making an album was a natural progression for her.
She said: “Yeah, I am. I mean, for real this time… I’ve always done [music], now I am actually doing an album that I plan to release.”
Meester added that in some ways she even prefers making music to acting.
“It’s so cool because it’s a completely different creative process. From beginning to end it’s yours and you make it… You can see the finished product,” she told Access Hollywood.
“It’s sometimes hard when you’re acting to be like, ‘Oh I see the finished product right before my eyes’. So it’s cool you’re there from start to finish when you are writing.”
