As we saw in last night’s EastEnders, there was a classic duff-duff moment as terrified teen Liam Butcher (James Forde) was confronted in his own home by evil gang member, Kane (Harry Rafferty).
And in tonight’s visit to Walford, we’ll see the menacing Kane telling Liam, “You know what you need to do to make all this stop…”
Kane makes his remark as a frantic Liam is struggling with the locks on the door in order to escape the thug, however, realising that the terror needs to stop, he goes back into the kitchen and as he sits down opposite Kane, he says, “I don’t know what you mean.” Read more & comment »
Fans of EastEnders will know that Liam Butcher (James Ford) became embroiled in an evil gang, however, after the gang turned on him and he was stabbed, Liam gave evidence to the police that he hoped would ensure the violent thugs were behind bars for a long time…
However, when the police released several members of the gang on bail, having failed to make any charges stick, Liam was terrified that they would come after him, and especially that gang leader Kane would have him firmly in his sights.

In the episode of EastEnders that airs on April 1, Liam Butcher (James Ford) is still in hospital recovering from being stabbed, and his frantic mum Bianca (Patsy Palmer) is juggling visits to him, working on the stall and taking care of her other kids…
However, there’s good news when DS Bain arrives at the hospital to tell Liam and Bianca that gang members Chris and Kane – among others – have been arrested in connection with the stabbing.

In next week’s episodes of EastEnders, struggling single mum Bianca Butcher (Patsy Palmer) has to take extreme measures to keep her wayward teenage son Liam (James Ford) away from the gang he’s involved in, and she enlists the help of Ray Dixon (Chucky Venn) to do so.
The drama begins on Monday, 18 March when we’ll see Bianca frantic after Liam’s been out all night. However, though she’s of course relieved when he arrives home, it’s short lived as the stroppy teen refuses to go to school or tell her where he’s been.

As fans of EastEnders may know, the show’s bosses have been highlighting the issue of youth gangs as part of not only the soap’s main storylines, but also for a special edition of the show for Comic Relief…

In the episode of EastEnders that airs on Monday, 11 March, Tamwar Masood (Himesh Patel) has a meeting with his boss, Mr Garner, and though the market supervisor is happy with most of Tamwar’s work, he’s not pleased that he hasn’t collected rent from several of the stallholders…

It’s been revealed today that EastEnders bosses had to cancel an outdoor shoot this week after a knife wielding gang of thugs forced their way on-set and threatened to stab the show’s stars and production crew.
The Mirror reports that Patsy Palmer, who plays Bianca Butcher, and 16-year-old James Ford – who plays her on-screen son Liam – were filming scenes in a park when the youths were heard yelling, “We’ll cut you.”
The paper adds, “The teenagers, some in hoodies and one with his face partly covered, hurled snowballs at onlookers before turning on the crew of the BBC1 soap.”
Security staff were hastily rushed to the scene in Graham Park in Colindale, north London to protect the BBC staff from the seven-strong gang who allegedly also threw fireworks. Read more & comment »
