Kevin McGee, the man who Matt Lucas ‘divorced’ earlier this year has been found dead after hanging himself.
The pair wed in a 2006 civil ceremony, but split in early 2009. Kevin last night left a suicide note on social networking site, Facebook.
David Walliams has revealed that he and Matt Lucas are finished with Little Britain.
The comedy show was a HUGE hit for BBC but Walliams and Lucas want to end the show before the public get fed up with it.
David told The Sun: “If the show comes back year in year out, it’s just probably not special any more.
Little Britain star David Walliams has been chatting about progression on the script for the movie version of the show and also about a second series of the American adaptation.
Walliams told The Sun:
“We’re really happy with it, but the whole film project is still kind of dependent on how much we can raise our profiles in America…Ultimately, our aim was always to make a film and it’s very exciting,” he explained.

Speaking on the breakfast TV show, the comedy-duo said thier US spin-off went down well across the pond – and only received one bad review.
Matt Lucas and David Walliams’ multi-award-winning comic creation, Little Britain, is returning to BBC One this autumn with a brand new series, Little Britain USA.
Filmed entirely in the States, the series features familiar Little Britain characters in new sketches, as well as brand-new characters, all performed by Lucas and Walliams.
Returning favourites include Dafydd Thomas, the self-proclaimed “only gay in the village”; Emily Howard, an awkward and obvious transvestite in denial; Lou and his seemingly wheelchair-bound best friend Andy; Marjorie Dawes, the insensitive leader of a chapter of the weight-loss support group Fatfighters; Vicky Pollard, a motor-mouthed teenage delinquent with a terrible attitude and Harvey, a young adult who still craves his mother’s “bitty”. Most of you will remember Little Britain star, Matt Lucas’ panto style wedding just eighteen months ago. Sadly it looks like the marriage between Lucas and his partner Kevin McGee has come to an end.
The couple’s lawyers have today issued a joint statement, confirming that the pair are divorcing. “It is with sadness that Matt and Kevin announce that their relationship has come to an end,” it said. “Their separation is amicable.”
Friends told the Daily Mail the couple had grown apart and ‘fallen out of love’.

Former Friends actor, David Schwimmer, has been tipped as one of the new directors for Little Britain USA.
David will direct the Los Angeles studio segments of the show, other parts will be directed by Michael Patrick Jann.
According to Variety, the series is based on the original Uk show starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams, but the setting has been changed to reflect contemporary America in a mix of segments shot on location and in a studio.
As former BBC boss Peter Fincham moves to ITV, rumours are circulating that he intends to try and bring some of the ‘talent’ with him.
First on his list is said to be Little Britian stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams.
A source told The Sun:
“There is just over a year left on the BBC deal and Peter is well known for being a friend of the stars.”
“It’s no surprise he’ll want to get Matt and David on board – they are two of the world’s hottest TV stars.One of the things ITV is sorely lacking is comedy.”
The US version of hot comedy show, Little Britain, has been delayed due to the current US writers strike.
“We’re members of the Writers Guild of America so our show is on hold,” creator Matt Lucas told BBC Radio One’s Newsbeat.
“We obviously didn’t want to break the strike, so we’re just waiting for them to reach an agreement,” he continued.
The show, which will be broadcast next year on pay-TV network HBO, was “pretty much written,” according to Lucas.
“But when you’re in rehearsal you change things and write new sketches, and when you’re on the set you change things,” he added. Read more & comment »
