Former Coronation Street actress, Lucy-Jo Hudson has revealed that she is ready to take on more grown up and sexy roles.

“I’ve learnt so much in the last few years,” she told Closer. “I feel like I’ve finally become a woman and have that confidence from getting older. I’m very confident about my new body now and think I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in.”

Katy Harris

Lucy-Jo Hudson has revealed that she found it very difficult to cope with the fame she achieved whilst appearing on ITV’s Coronation Street. In fact in the end she was actually relieved to leave the show.

Lucy-Jo played the part of Katy Harris, and featured in some of the soaps biggest storylines when she had an affair with the much older Marin Platt and subsequently murdered her father who was opposed to the relationship.

Katy told The People newspaper:

“I was 18 when I got the Katy part. Because I was so young I couldn’t cope with it at all.
