Olivia Colman was honoured with two awards at this evening’s Arqiva British Academy Television Awards for Supporting Actress for her role as Sue in Accused (Mo’s Story) and for Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for her portrayal as Sally in Twenty Twelve, a programme which also collected an award for Situation Comedy.
Steve Coogan received the award for Male Performance in a Comedy Programme and The Revolution will be Televised won the Comedy Programme category.

Funnyman Alan Carr returns this evening, with the eighth series of his award-winning chat show, delivering the second of six new episodes.
Alan Carr: Chatty Man kicks off the weekend in style with more unashamedly addictive celebrity-fuelled antics, mischievous chat and musical performances and in the second show the tv funnyman is joined by comedy superstar Eddie Izzard who chats about his Force Majeure world tour, Britain’s Got Talent judges David Walliams and Amanda Holden, plus the cast of Made in Chelsea. Music is from Gossip who perform Perfect World.
Tonight, Channel 4, 10PM
