Giant-like comedian, Greg Davies, is to be given his own sitcom after impressing everyone so much as his role as headmaster, Mr Gilbert, in the hit comedy, The Inbetweeners.

Davies, who has featured in many comedy panel shows since the show ended, has written and starred in a pilot for Channel 4 called Man Down.
