Courtney Cox and Matthew Perry are to be reunited after nine years apart as on-screen lovers in Perry’s new sitcom, Go On, The Sun newspaper reports.
Cox and Perry are best known for playing the best friends turned husband and wife duo, Monica Geller and Chandler Bing in the US phenomenon sitcom, Friends, but now, nine years after the show ended they are to be reunited as on-screen lovers in Perry’s new sitcom, Go On.

Matthew Perry has revealed that he is planning to to enter rehab as he needs to deal with his ongoing “sobriety” issues.
The former ‘Friends’ actor – spent time in a specialist clinic as he dealt with substance abuse issues in 1997 and 2001 – has not suffered a relapse, but intends to “go away” for some time to focus on himself.
He said in a statement: “I’m making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery.
“Please enjoy making fun of me on the world wide web.”

We always liked Matthew Perry back in the good old days. Not only was his character Chandler Bing by far the funniest thing about ‘Friends’ but in real life, Perry was always pretty witty too!
It seems that Matthew hasn’t lost his edge and he demonstrated his quick and sometimes caustic tongue, during a press conference for his new show Mr Sunshine yesterday.
Sitting in a room full of reporters and TV critics, things got a little uneasy when one asked:
“All the Friends are sort of cooking along pretty well these days except, it seems, for David [Schwimmer].”

Friends star Matthew Perry is set to star in a new comedy TV show entitled, Mr Sunshine.
Commissioned by the US TV network, ABC, The West Wing actress Allison Janney will co-star alongside Matthew and will play the role of his boss.
Matthew’s character will be the manager of a sports arena who’s going through a mid-life crisis when he turns 40.
Matthew will apparently be executive producer of the pilot episode, along with Thomas Schlamme who’s directing. Read more & comment »

Courtney Cox has admitted that whilst Lisa Kudrow is happy to make a guest appearance on her new show ‘Cougar Town’, some other former Friend’s aren’t so keen on the idea.
Courtney did approach her former on-screen boyfriend Matthew Perry about filming a cameo as her new boyfriend, but he said no.
