Whilst this season has seen the launch of new channel Sky Atlantic, with amazing shows such as Boardwalk Empire and Treme, it has also launched new profiles for current channels such as Sky Living HD and Sky One HD, with new and exciting shows.

Mad Dogs made it’s debut a few weeks ago, and I am ashamed to say that whilst I set my sky plus to record, I , like most of the nation, prioritised it way behind the likes of Boardwalk Empire and Bedlam, in our ‘to watch’ category

Ashes to Ashes star, Philip Glenister, is among a star studded cast who will play lead roles in a new Sky 1 drama entitled, Mad Dogs.

Co-starring alongside Max Beesley, John Simm and Marc Warren, Glenister will start filming in Majorca for the thriller this week.

The storyline for the new drama – which goes to air next year – is that a group of “forty somethings” go to Spain for a retirement party, but it seems that the jolly reunion of old school friends turns sinister when the men find themselves in the midst of a “labyrinthine nightmare of lies, deception and murder.” Read more & comment »

Hotel Babylon star, Max Beesley has revealed that he believes his former relationship with Spice Girl, Mel B, seriously damaged his acting career.

He told the Daily Mail: “It just so happened that I fell in love with a particular person at a particular time. It made the front pages wherever we went.

“It wasn’t a particularly nice situation to be in and, as far as I could see, it had no benefits and plenty of disadvantages. It damaged my career 100%.

“I was getting painted with the same celebrity brush as her, and nobody was paying any attention to my work, which was really unfortunate. Everything slowed right down.”

Max so hates (?) the celebrity lifestyle that accompanies being massively famous, he is currently living with his best friend Robbie Williams in his LA mansion!!
