Kirsty Branning is of course currently very much preoccupied by trying to keep up her lie about being pregnant to her husband Max (Jake Wood) so the last thing she needs right now is her violent brother Adam pestering her…

EastEnders have cast a familiar face in Daniel Coonan to play Kirsty Branning’s violent ex, Carl White, the Sun newspaper reports.
According to the publication Carl, who is being played by a former EastEnders small-part actor, is set to be the biggest tough guy the long-running BBC soap has ever seen, and will throw a real spanner in the works for Kirsty (Kierston Wareing) and her husband Max (Jake Wood).
