Emmerdale Spoiler Clip: Megan Macey breaks down in front of Ali Spencer, but is all forgiven? (VIDEO)

As fans of Emmerdale will know, angry teen Sean Spencer (Luke Roskell) nearly died last week after he electrocuted himself as he smashed up Brook Cottage, which was of course his family home until Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye) ruthlessly booted the clan…

And despite the fact that Megan in fact helped to keep Sean alive until the emergency services arrived, she need not expect any thanks from Sean’s feisty mum Ali (Kelli Hollis) who in fact blames Megan for the whole thing!

As we saw last week, as Sean was being taken to hospital, Ali promised Megan, “This isn’t over…” and true to her word, in the episode that airs on Monday, we’ll see Ali confronting Megan over the near fatal incident, but to her surprise, Megan breaks down and reveals that Ali has what she’s always wanted; a family who love her. Those who live up at Home Farm have usually ended up being disliked by the mere mortal villagers for one reason or another…

For proof of that, we need look no further than the Tate family who once reigned as Lords and Ladies of the manor, or even the King family who managed to alienate many of the locals during their tenure in the big house.

Emmerdale Spoilers: Declan Macey’s at breaking point when Katie tells him she’s not sure they have a future and he learns of Megan’s betrayal

The New Year has not begun well for Declan Macey (Jason Merrells) who has of course been caring for his wife Katie (Sammy Winward) who’s been left reliant on walking aids after her fall down a mineshaft before Christmas…

And things got so much worse when Katie and Declan were told that they couldn’t have children together as Katie had to have emergency surgery to treat a pelvic infection which left her with damaged ovaries.

Since she got that devastating news, Katie has become convinced that Declan is only with her out of duty, and in forthcoming episodes, we’ll see her telling her husband that she thinks they should split after he has a go at her for having a drink with her ex, Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher).

Emmerdale at 40: Brutal King brother fight in the Dales! Sneaky peak into what to expect in tonight’s episode!

Last night saw the first instalment of this week’s Emmerdale 40th anniversary celebrations, and what an episode it was.

Backed into a corner, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) found herself with two options, run off with Carl leaving everyone shocked, but still blissfully unaware that she had been sleeping with her nieces fella all year, or marry Dan quickly and run away leaving Cameron (Dominic Power) to deal with the huge can of worms that a furious Carl (Tom Lister) is bound to open.

Emmerdale: Robbie Lawson and mum Megan Macey will try to sabotage Katie and Declan’s wedding!

STV report today that scheming Robbie Lawson and his mum Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye) are going to do their best to ruin Katie and Declan’s wedding day after Robbie discovers that Declan (Jason Merrells) is intending to fleece Megan out of the money she’s earned in setting up the music festival.

Speaking exclusively to STV, Jamie Shelton, who of course plays Robbie, said, “Robbie finds out Declan and Katie are going to screw Megan over with the festival money, and then Megan finds out.

“And Robbie wants to tell Megan to mess up the wedding and he wants to help her do that.”

So that the plotline isn’t spoiled for viewers, Jamie added, “All I know really is that they’re out to spoil it and Megan’s going to make sure she does that…

“She’ll be bursting as they’re getting married and seeing how everyone reacts to that. That’s the plan.” Read more & comment »

Emmerdale: 40th anniversary to feature a real music festival at Home Farm!

As fans of Emmerdale will know, Home Farm Estate owner Declan Macey (Jason Merrells) is gambling his finances – in an all-or-nothing deal – on a music festival on Home Farm land being a success…

He of course enlisted the help of his business expert sister Megan (Gaynor Faye) in making the festival the money spinner he needs it to be in order to save his business from going under, and it’s been months in the planning now.

And today, The Sun’s TV Biz has revealed that the festival, which is entitled The Homefields Festival, will go ahead, making it the first ever actual music festival to be “built from scratch” for a TV soap.

The festival will be part of the show’s 40th anniversary celebrations, and will apparently feature hit bands Scouting for Girls and The Proclaimers, among others who are yet to be confirmed by ITV… Read more & comment »

Emmerdale: Jason Merrells says Megan Macey thinks Declan is “forcing her into being a mother”

As fans of Emmerdale will know, we recently learned that ruthless business woman Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye) had a son when she was younger, but she gave him up for adoption.

However, her brother Declan Macey, took it upon himself to hunt down Megan’s son, and to do so, he hired a private detective, who, this week, will give Declan the news that he’s found the boy, who’s now of course a young man.

Declan is delighted to learn that his nephew, Robbie (Jamie Shelton) actually lives quite near by, and given that the couple who adopted him have passed away, Declan thinks the timing of the whole thing is ideal…

But according to Jason Merrells, who of course plays Declan, Megan’s not going to be pleased with her brother for interfering in her life.

Speaking to Soaplife, Jason said, “When Megan was clearly upset on Robbie’s birthday, Declan got it into his head he could solve everything by tracking Robbie down and pushing them together. Read more & comment »

Emmerdale: Gaynor Faye wants her character Megan Macey to stay mean, not mumsy!

In forthcoming episodes of Emmerdale, we’re about to meet Megan Macey’s son Robbie, who Megan gave up for adoption when he was a baby.

And despite the fact that Megan told her brother Declan (Jason Merrells) that she has no interest in finding her son, he went ahead and hired a private investigator to do just that.

Emmerdale: First look at newbie Jamie Shelton, and Steve Halliwell’s scary stunt!


As we reported a few weeks ago, newcomer Jamie Shelton has joined the cast of Emmerdale as Megan Macey’s son…

He’s playing the role of Robbie, who Megan’s brother Declan Macey (Jason Merrells) tracks down with the help of a private investigator. We have of course heard in recent episodes that Megan had a son who she gave up for adoption when he was a baby.

However, it seems Robbie has grown up with some issues, and when he turns up at Home Farm, Megan (Gaynor Faye) is shocked to the core, and it seems Robbie’s more than willing to use that to his advantage.

Emmerdale: Gaynor Faye loves working in Yorkshire, and Lucy Pargeter’s fear for Chas Dingle

News from Yorkshire today includes newcomer Gaynor Faye revealing that she’s loving working in her home county, and Lucy Pargeter remarking that she fears her character, Chas Dingle, would be ostracized by the entire village if her affair with Cameron became public knowledge.

Beginning with what Gaynor – whose mum is famous screenwriter Kay Mellor and who of course plays Megan Macey in Emmerdale – has to say to the PA about working in Yorkshire.

She said, “My job has taken me all over the world, so the fact I can see my children [now I’m on Emmerdale] every day is fantastic.

Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter loves script surprises and Gaynor Faye’s biccies!

Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has revealed that she loves to find a surprise waiting for her when her scripts for the show get delivered to her.

Lucy, who of course plays Chas Dingle, also revealed that newcomer Gaynor Faye is making herself popular with the rest of the cast by providing snacks and biccies!

But first, of how she enjoys finding out what’s about to happen to Chas, Lucy told Inside Soap, “Some actors chat to producer Stuart Blackburn about their storylines…

“But I’d just rather read what’s coming up in the scripts.

“I’ve no idea what’s in store. But the 40th anniversary is soon and there have been rumours that the Dingles will feature.”

Emmerdale newbie Gaynor Faye reveals a childhood dogged by bullies

In her TV roles, Gaynor Faye has most often played strong, confident women, and her new role in Emmerdale as Megan Macey – half sister of Declan Macey, who’s played by Jason Merrells – is no different.

And in an interview with the Daily Mirror, Gaynor has revealed that when she was relentlessly bullied as a child, she had to make a “sink or swim” decision on how to deal with it, and she chose to stand up to her tormentors by not letting them get to her.

Now aged 40, Gaynor – who’s the daughter of famed screenwriter Kay Mellor – said of her experiences of playground bullying, “It was sink or swim. I remember thinking ‘I’m not going to let them get the better of me’.”

Gaynor went on to say that she believes it was having to be strong willed as a child that’s made her who she is today.

She said, “I became an actress because I loved acting but also part of me thought ‘I’m going to make something of my life, I’m not going to let you damage me…’ Read more & comment »

Emmerdale: New Barton car crash pictures and clip, plus Natalie J Robb reveals filming injuries!

ITV have just updated Emmerdale’s official website with a host of new pictures and a video clip that show what could be poor John Barton’s last moments alive as he and newly reconciled wife Moira are in an horrific crash…

You can click here to see the preview video, and here to see lots more pictures, but in the meantime, Natalie J Robb, who of course plays Moira, has told the Daily Record that she sustained injuries while filming the crash scenes.

Natalie explained that for the episode, which airs on February 16th in an hour long special, she and James Thornton – who plays John Barton – were replaced by stunt doubles for some of the major scenes, but of those they filmed themselves, she said, “It went too slow for me!
