Dexter star Michael C. Hall is set to undergo his final chemotherapy session next week.
Hall only revealed in January that he was battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in secret. He turned up to collect his first ever Golden Globe wearing a hat to cover the hair loss he has suffered as a result of his treatment.
Dexter star Michael C. Hall has admitted that he would have preferred to have kept his battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma private, but was talked into making a statement last week.
Hall made his first public appearance since the announcement at last night’s Golden Globes ceremony and wore a headscarf to collect his award for ‘Best Actor in a Drama’.
Dexter star Michael C. Hall has been treated for cancer, after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
In a statement to AP today, Hall said:
“I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition, and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care.”

Michael C hall has confirmed what we all suspected but secretly dread, Dexter can’t last forever.
In an interview with E!, Michael conceded:
“It can’t last forever, The show is like a shark. It has to keep moving forward. And if it runs out of things to eat it’s going to die.”

Michael C hall has spoken about the upcoming fourth season of Dexter and how the serial killer copes with being a first time dad.
E! was at Comic con yesterday for the Dexter seminar and quote Hall as saying:
“The theory of being a father appealed to Dexter… but he didn’t appreciate how trapped it might make him feel and how difficult it would be to exercise his compulsions,” he said.
Michael C Hall has admitted that the producers of Dexter walk a fine line with his character.
In a sit down chat with THR.com, Hall said that whilst they played about with the idea of rehabilitating Dexter in the second season, it didn’t work and that the writers constantly wrestle with trying to make Dexter seem more human, without having him grow a heart.
