Sky1 have announced that world-renowned psychic medium Derek Acorah will attempt to make contact with Michael Jackson on Sky1 HD in two specially-commissioned shows, MICHAEL JACKSON: THE LIVE SÉANCE and MICHAEL JACKSON: THE SEARCH FOR HIS SPIRIT to be broadcast in November.
The programmes, both presented by broadcaster and Jackson fan June Sarpong, aim to give fans a final chance to connect with their hero, himself a firm believer in psychic ability. Acorah, whose high profile on screen séances have to date been restricted to historical and mythical figures will lead proceedings in MICHAEL JACKSON: THE LIVE SÉANCE; an hour long live special from a secret location familiar to, and previously inhabited by, Jackson and where the famed psychic medium will attempt to contact the music legend.
In what’s sure to be a controversial move, Leigh Francis will be bringing Michael Jackson back, Bo’ Selecta style.
The Avid Merrion star launches a new Bo’ series on the 24th of September and will be dusting off that MJ mask and adding some angel style wings to make it all a little more realistic.
The trailer for Michael Jackson’s This Is It documentary is to premiere at the MTV Video Music Awards next week.
The clip will show MJ rehearsing for his stint at London’s O2 Arena in July.
“There’s obviously lots of emotion around Michael and the memory of Michael, but I think it’s going to be a pretty celebratory kind of night all around,” said VMAs executive producer Dave Sirulnick.
The movie’s website will go live at the same time the trailer is shown, and the movie will hit cinemas for two weeks on October 28.
MTV has announced that Janet Jackson will make a special appearance at the “2009 Video Music Awards. ” Janet will pay tribute to her late brother, Michael Jackson at the awards.
Janet, open the entire show with her tribute to honor Michael’s celebrated career. It is not yet clear whether she will be performing.
Dermot O’Leary has hit out at the press for continually printing stories about the death of Michael Jackson. The X Factor host thinks that media should spare a thought for the singers children before reporting on every angle of his demise.
O’Leary met Jackson at London’s O2 arena in March this year,when he announced his upcoming ‘This Is It’ residency.
ITV Global Entertainment Ltd have announced that they will air a new documentary centred around Michael Jackson and Uri Gellar.
“This is the real Michael Jackson, the way that just a handful of friends were privileged to see him – relaxed, witty, loving, smart, sincere and genuine,” said Gellar. “This film gives audiences around the world the opportunity to experience the reality of life with Michael.”
ITV is to re-air Martin Bashir’s landmark documentary, originally shown in 2003. In it Michael Jackson opens the doors to his private world over a six month filming period. In this edited version, the star shows reporter Bashir around his Neverland ranch, invites him on tour to Germany, where Michael displays signs of increasingly erratic behaviour as he is filmed inside the hotel room from which he infamously dangled his young son as fans outside looked on, and talks candidly about his childhood, his work and wealth, his own children and his lifestyle.
La Toya Jackson has claimed that her brother, Michael was murdered on the 25th of June and she says she knows who dd it.
La Toya has claimed that his death was the result of a conspiracy by people who would make more money from Michael if he was dead, than if he was alive.
Speaking to The News Of The World, La Toya said: “I know who did it and I won’t rest until I nail them.”
Mariah Carey has admitted that she found it hard to sing at Michael Jackson’s memorial service yesterday. The first few notes of her performance of ‘I’ll Be There’ were a little wobbly and Mariah revealed on her Twitter account:
“Sorry that I wasn’t able to pull it together and really do it right, but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me.”
Michael Jackson’s former estate Neverland is set to be transformed into a shrine to the star, much in the style of Elvis’ Graceland.
The late popstar’s Santa Barbara estate was purchased by Thomas Barrack last year and a source told E! Entertainment:
“Michael had been having financial troubles for years. The loan bought on his ranch was essentially just a hefty favour for the singer. Despite some of the bad memories that happened at Neverland, Michael just couldn’t part with the ranch.

Michael Jackson’s memorial service was moving from the moment his brothers wheeled his casket into the auditorium. It became even more sad, as close friends Brooke Shields and Stevie Wonder paid very personal tributes to the musical legend. However the most heartbreaking moment came at the end of the two hour ceremony, when Paris Jackson took the mic.
